It's been getting later and later here. Used to be 1, then 130 and now it's more like 2 which pushes bedtime way back. But he doesn't sleep in (up at 630 almost every day) Ugh. Today I put him in crib at 12:55 because we have plans later and it's 1:33 and he's still singing.....

For us, it's between 12:30-1pm. 1:30pm is the latest for him. At daycare, he naps at 1pm, so we keep it close to that schedule. My dude's a master staller, so 1:30pm feels so late. He's 25 months old.

Around 1. He fought nap for about 30 minutes, he kept opening door and getting in "mommy/daddy big bed."

@BandDmommy: mine fights it and is still in the crib. He's almost be in the crib am hour with no nap. And he didn't nap yesterday!

@winniebee: in his defense I've misplaced puppy, so I'm the worst mommy ever. He kept telling me "puppy far away mommy... Why puppy far away?? Need puppy". You are lucky T is still in crib, our big bed transition is going ok.

@BandDmommy: he definitely wants out of his crib. He is the type of child who will get up 47 times and I think we will kiss naps goodbye when we transition. But I bought all his big boy bedding so we can do it pretty soon if we decide to.

@winniebee: definitely keep him in as long as you can. If B wouldn't have climbed out of the crib I would have kept him in crib. Since changing to big boy bed, he wakes up between 6 - 7 am. He used to sleep longer, but he loves joining us in our bed.

DS is also 28 months and whenever he's done lunch he goes for his nap, which is usually between 12-12:30.

Nap time is usually somewhere between 1330 and 1415, she'll sleep till 1615ish at the latest then be in bed by 2000.

25 months and he usually falls asleep around 1:30 and I wake him up at 3pm. He goes to bed at 8:30 though, and doesn't usuallt sleep past 6-6:15am. I need him to nap! Lol

@BabyBoecksMom: I know isn't it? But today I tried early since he took a 30 min stroller nap and even though he was in his crib at 1255 he didn't fall asleep until 215....

@bushelandapeck: do you wake him to keep bed time on track? I hate waking him up! We used to be 8 bed time then it was 830 and now he's happy with 9 but I'm not!

Yes...otherwise he would never go to sleep. As it is, I go to bed at 9pm so DH and I only have that 30 mins to ourselves after he's asleep.

My 2 year old will nap 3 or 4 days a week 
If she does nap, it's after lunch around 12-1pm. On those days she'll fall asleep around 9 pm.
I don't let her nap if she is not asleep by 2, because that will push her bedtime back to 10-11 pm which is past *my* bedtime and just not cool.
On no nap days I get her to sleep by 7 pm and she'll usually sleep for 11-12 hours.
But she is a low sleep needs baby that dropped to one nap by 11 months, so I wouldn't be surprised we we do away with naps by 2.5. Fun!

Mine is 28 months, also, and tends to go down between 1 and 2. There are many days lately where she doesn't sleep at all - just plays in her crib.

28m and she's been waking at 5:30am lately so nap time is 12:00/12:30. She naps for 1.5-2 hours.

He wakes between 6-7, and goes down at 1 for his nap. Like 1 pm on the dot. He gets a second wind at 1:15 if he's not in his bed, so I'm pretty strict about it. He usually sleeps 2-2.5 hrs. Bedtime at 8. Also pretty strict about that. I'd be miserable with a 9 pm bedtime, so I feel for you. I know T's a nap fighter, though @winniebee. Do you think he still likes his crib?

@BananaPancakes: well he is at least in his bed at 8 or 830 he just takes awhile to fall asleep! I think he's ready for a big boy bed but I worry he is never going to stay in it since he fights nap so much. But as of next week we have all his bedding for it etc.

@winniebee: Hopefully you'll be surprised in a good way! We made the switch a few months ago, and it's been great. Maybe he'll love his big boy bed so much he'll stay put.

She will be 3 in a few months. Her nap usually starts somewhere between 1 and 2.
