Help.
We have a photographer coming over on Sunday to do a "lifestyle" family photo shoot for us. She's looking to beef up her portfolio so she is doing these for free. I'm trying to figure out what we should do while she is there. She wants the pictures to be taken in our home. Our home is not Martha Stewart, it's ... regular Joe.
Should we sit on the couch and read? Play with toys? Eat? Haha. Hellllp.

I would do some shots outside too. Set up a little picnic in your backyard or something.

What an awesome way to have pictures taken! I would recommend reading, playing with toys, eating a meal together. Have so much fun!

Don't worry about your home! People are the focus after all! I think you guys can probably think of a few toys to play with & everyone's on the floor, 1 book for reading time on the couch, maybe snack time, and def outside shots just taking a walk, playing in the yard, etc! I think the point of a "lifestyle" shoot is just as natural as possible.

@Periwinkle: @snowjewelz: food is a good idea. The photographer saw the pictures I posted on Facebook of M's face covered in chocolate from fondue and suggested we do that at the end of the session. Have a fondue party.

@mediagirl: I would do normal day to day stuff for the shoot! Playing inside and out in your yard. I think you could get some great shots of M and your fam playing outside on the street/sidewalk. Photos of you guys eating, bath prep, etc!

I always thinking reading/playing is cute but also if your LO is able to "help" you cook at all that can be really cute too. Like make some cookies and have her stirring the bowl and with flour all over her face
