I have a rough idea what I'm getting DW for her first Mother's Day with LO (I can't share it because she's an avid HBer!), but I was wondering what other DHs/SOs were planning on doing?

For my first mothers day dh got me a wagon wheel
I really wanted one to make an herb garden in but couldn't find any near us, so he surprised me and we drove 1 1/2 hours to get it. Probably my favorite gift ever.

I haven't gotten anything yet, DH is pretty horrible when it comes to gifts (I've known it from the get go, jokes on me!)
Our budget is super tight so I'm sure I'll get a card and breakfast or something like that I love the idea of breakfast in bed after getting to sleep in and them spoiling me all day hehe -
Thought I'd pop in and say hi. Most woman just want some sort of acknowledgement or sentiment. All depends on your budget and what she likes. Spa day, card, flowers, mothers jewelry (something simple she can add to), something from her favorite etsy shop, brunch date.

I hinted that I would love a piece of jewelry (silver is fine) that has a 'J' on it or the May birth stone for our DS. I have 2 tattoos that I'm not fond of so this would be a nice way for me to have something of him on me when we're not together until I can commit to a tattoo idea. We'll see!

DH and LO bought me a spa certificate last year. I'm going to use it at the end of the month!

DH and LO bought me a gift certificate to a spa last year. I have a feeling they're getting me a bottle of perfume this year because I've dropped hints like nobody's business.

I was still pregnant last year so he just got me a card. This year I'm angling for brunch and an afternoon alone. I'm like to get a pedicure and maybe a haircut without trying to entertain LO, which is what usually happens.

Happy Mother's Day, everyone.
Just to update, I bought--I mean LO bought--DW an iPod Nano and a board book called "Mommy Mommy" that LO already loves hearing her read to him. Also, there was a nice brunch out, plus accompanying her shopping. I hope/think she had a lovely day.
