My son is almost 11 months old, and I feel like he has lost interest in some of the toys he used to like. He's not that interested in Sophie, or some of the other small toys he used to chew on. He is not a fan of the exersaucer. His favorite thing to do right now is climb on his stroller, which of course I can't let him do unless I am right there holding onto him.
What toys might be good for him at this age? I prefer toys without batteries/lights/noise.

She loves her play food and play shopping cart right now. Also lots of ride on toys.

Bead mazes, megabloks, and things with cars (like the playskool drum drop rollers) were a hit when my son was 1 (and still are 6 months later).

Stacking cups, balls, and books galore. I feel like 1 is a hard age for toys. Baby stuff doesn't hold their interest anymore, but most toys still are over their heads.

Lift the flap books, her play kitchen and shopping cart (I let her go grocery shopping in the pantry,) wooden puzzles, anything she can stack or match shape with hole, BALLS, and anything she can push along, like her walk along stroller or the shopping cart. She also has a ton of toys that make noise and light up, and she loves those for cause and effect.

@LivsMama: Ooh yes, books are a big favorite in our house. It is so sweet to see her go get a book, bring it out to us, and she will sit down and sign "please". SOOOO sweet!
We haven't gotten attached to stuffed animals at all. She does have a few baby dolls and she will give them a paci or bottle.

Stacking rings or buckets, ride on or push toys, her leapfrog picnic basket, shape sorters! Also toys where she can make something happen (talk, light up, open, etc).

She loooved her board books at that age. Toys with wheels. Stuffed animals. Ring stacker and shape sorters. At around 18 months she loved her wheely bug (http://www.princelionheart.com/site/p_wheely_7503.html), some kids like riding toys younger, but she was a slow walker.

Wagon Jr. loved anything he could pull up on and push. Push toys and his play kitchen are two things that come to mind that don't have lights, batteries, or sound. He loved his activity table-- I think there are some out there without the sound and lights.

She loves her kitchen and board books the most. Her favorite thing to do is take things out of something, like her food out of her kitchen, phone, keys, etc out of her toy purse, taking her books off her bookshelf, diapers out of the basket. She also loves blocks because I pile them up and she'll knock them over. So pretty much she likes to destroy things.

I second the push toys and kitchen. When my son was one he LOVED push toys. He also loved playing with plates and fake fruit on his toy kitchen.
