Pyrex, Glasslock, IKEA or something else?
Do you take them to work or do you only use them at home?

@autumnlove: I think glass lock...or at least similar. Love love love the locking lids and DH does bring them to work. We only have 6 but I want more!

@Mrs. Pickle: maybe that's what we have! We got them at BBB for our shower.

@Bao: the locking lids are great! I could probably use a few more.

We have these. We mostly use them at home but I do take them to work occasionally.

Glasslock! We have the ones that are freezer-and oven-safe, and they're awesome. We also have a few Pyrex dishes that are fine, but they don't best so storing them is a PITA.

All of them, lol! I've got Rubbermaid, glass Snapware, Pyrex with the lids that press on, and Glasslock. I cook a lot and some of them house frozen and dry stuff so they're out of rotation for longer periods.
Anyhow, my ideal cupboard is the Snapware (probably 2 sets, but this may vary depending on cooking habits and number of people), and the set of glass stacking Pyrex bowls from Costco. I didn't think I would use the huge bowl, but it's really handy! Also a set of the 1.5 qt and 3 qt casseroles with lids from Pyrex. I dislike the Rubbermaid lids and I find that the Glasslock lids are harder to use than the Snapware.
I use stainless containers for carrying food around.

We have two sets of snap ware from
Costco. It goes everywhere (work, school, with LO to my parents house). I love it! DH is really rough with things and it gets tossed in his vackpack to go to work and never leaks or breaks.

@lawbee11: We have these as well.
We also have the pyrex but found the plastic lids are going to wear down over time. The snap on lids seem to be sturdier but they are an odd shape so we mostly hand wash them.

If anyone has a Sam's membership, I just got a great deal on Glasslock last week - 20 pieces (10 containers + lids) for $19.98. I bought 2

Looks like they're sold out online but maybe still available in store?

Pyrex and anchor hocking. I use them daily and have also taken them to work as has my husband because threcan go in the microwave, oven, or toaster oven without the lid and I don't microwave in plastic. They're great because they can freeze as well and won't break like plastic can. I do find the lids rip or break easily which is disappointing.

We got a huge set of pyrex containers from woot. They're great but they're circles, and I wish they were square. We have a couple of glasslock square ones and they're so much neater and more efficient in terms of fridge space and drawer space!

We have some snapware from Costco and some wean green small containers that I use for yogurt and dips or smaller portions of stuff. I use them for work and for LOs lunch/snacks.

We have the rubbermaid glass set that has ones like these in it. I love that they stack so they take up a little less room than the others we had before (think it was the snapware ones). I used to take them work all the time when there were leftovers or made salads.
