Olive has outgrown her trumpette socks. i loved them because they really added that little zest to her outfits. i also like these old navy socks because they stay on her feet:

Trumpettes rock my world. I found a pair of size 2s the other day and I was so excited. We're using Hanes for Lala right now, but nothing stays on like a trumpette!

I put Me in mind mary janes on my LO. They have a free sock replacement program if you ever lose a sock!

@Mrs. Jacks: they come in size 2's? i thought they only came 6-12 months, and they run small so you definitely can't wear them until 12 months.

There is a specific type of Carter's socks and a specific type of Gap socks that stay on LO's feet.
When LO outgrew her Trumpette socks, I was so sad!

We currently are out of socks. I started to get worried that she looked unkempt at daycare but they told me today that if I send her in socks they take them off because she's trying to cruise and the socks are too slippery for her on their floors.

I'm a bad mama... no socks for us on most days! It's been pretty warm around here, and I usually just put a blanket over DD's legs when we go out of the house.

Both DH and I think the Trumpette socks are adorable - so that's what LO will wear until he/she is in shoes.

@Mrs. Bee: Trumpette socks are the best bc they stay on her feet and look cute...puma socks aren't as cute (but still pretty cute) but they are also great at staying on her little feet and come in larger sizes too.

I've pulled off trumpettes for as long as possible. Otherwise we use the Hanes from Target and some pumas we were gifted.

Too hot for socks right now but we have these Jazzytoes Mary Janes. I love them cause they have the most grip on the bottom (3 rows) of any of the socks I've tried (even trumpette), which was super important when LO was learning how to walk.

@lemondrop: We use those bug ones from REI too. They are awesome, they don't come off on their own, but Baby X is starting to figure out how to pull them off. They stay on better than shoes though-- he knows how to kick shoes off now. Oh, and full disclosure, DH works for REI, so we buy from there whenever possible anyway.

They were the only socks that would stay on my preemie nephews, so I knew they would work great on my son. We don't wear many socks right now since it is over 100 degrees these days.

I bought these in a different pattern for LO. They stay on really well, I'm not sure about the regular height ones though. I bought them when they were having a 1 day sale!
