The other thread made me realize I've only packed DH a hoodie and granola bar. Oops.
What did you pack for your SO for the hospital stay? (Or what did they pack themselves?)

I think he packed a change of underwear/t-shirt, some cliff bars, and comfy pants/sweatshirt. I think we also packed a blanket, which did come in handy as he tried to sleep a little in the delivery room on a chair (it was a long ordeal). His phone & charger. A toothbrush and his glasses.

Best thing he packed was swim trunks. I knew each room had a tub or shower and planned to use that to help w labor. He was in the shower with me for 3+ hours, so those swim trunks were priceless!! Cheap rubber flip flops too!

He had a list of things to add himself when the time came: underwear, t shirt, socks, pj pants, toothbrush, iPad/phone and chargers. Also flip flops and a hoodie if he wasn't already wearing them. We were pretty minimal honestly.

My husband also packed swim shorts and they were a lifesaver when I was having awful back labor and could only get relief in the shower. He also packed chargers, extra change of clothes, toiletries, a hoodie, and his pillow. He was relieved to bring his own pillow since the hospital room's couch was awful for his back.

A hoodie and track pants, an extra t-shirt and boxers, swim shorts, granola bars and a water bottle, toothbrush, phone/camera and charger, his iPad. He would have loved his own pillow, because the chair in the delivery room was not very comfy for sleeping.

Nada. We live a mile away so he went home every morning to shower. Next time we will bring him a pillow and heavier blanket - hospital bedding left much to be desired.

Not much. Athletic shorts and a tshirt, camera, phone charger, and flip flops. I'm pretty sure that was it. He ended up going home and getting his laptop at some point I think, and got me some paperwork I had forgotten at home. The hospital was only 15 minutes away and our parents came and went so we didn't worry about bringing much for him. He's pretty happy on his phone/iPad/computer though and can go without eating for awhile without complaining.
Eta: I also work at that hospital so I knew what to expect as far as rooms and what would be provided.

We live 5 min away. I packed him a hoodie, some snacks, a toothbrush and toothpaste and mouthwash, a book, and his iPhone charger.
