I think it was Frozen-- definitely was for DD2. They still both love it-- I recommend it for that age for sure!

There are some scary scenes in Little Mermaid and Alice in Wondetland, no?

LO was 2.5 when she watched Frozen and Cinderella and she could only watch it if we held her hand the entire time. She is fine with slower paced shows but there is something scary about movies (for her). I remember reading a thread where some kids liked the non-animated movies better!

Frozen

D's first movie was Planes, I think. From your list, I'd go with Frozen or Finding Nemo. D loves both of them.

34 months and have yet to test a movie, he'll watch a few episodes of mmc though so we will try a movie one of these colder nights in the coming wknds!

Her first was Lady and the Tramp, which she still likes. We love family movie night! It's our Friday tradition to make homemade pizza and eat it on a picnic blanket while we watch. FWIW, the Little Mermaid is the only one she's ever asked to turn off because she was scared. Her favorites are Jungle Book, Tarzan and Frozen.

I'd go with Cinderella or Frozen from your list, I think. Nothing nightmare inducing in either of those, I don't think.

Finding Nemo or Frozen. LO's first movie was Frozen and she didn't last long with it. Her next was Finding Nemo, she loved it!

Frozen or Cars, can't remember which was his first! He's been able to sit through movies since he was 20ish months. We don't watch them a lot but it's a fun family night activity!

I think you should try frozen. That was the second o e DS watched. First, oddly, was How to train your Dragon at my parents house. He loved it!

Well if you count me taking him to mommy and baby cinema outing when he was 8 days old, it was Breaking Dawn Part 2. He slept through most of it

The first one I put on for him when he was alert to watch it was the Lion King. We watched it together when we were home sick. Though he didn't hold his attention for the whole thing, I think we got through 2/3 of it.

Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music are the only movies my son has seen all the way through and he's 4.5! Animated films scare him and he hasn't seen any of the ones on your list.

You'd have the best luck with frozen or finding nemo!

Cars! He still likes it.... He also really liked Stuart Little 2 weirdly.

@hilsy85: same. Toy Story scared him... Finding Nemo scares him at the part with the Sharks.

I think Cars was his first, but turned 3 last month and still won't sit through a whole movie!

From your list I'd probably do Frozen or Finding Nemo...I think E sat longer for Frozen, though...he liked Olaf a lot!

Frozen, then Finding Nemo.

My DS is 2 and I put on Cars the other night, and he watched maybe 10-15 minutes of it before going off to play. He loves fish so I may try Finding Nemo next.

The only show he even watches at this point is Mickey Mouse, and he would easily sit through 2 episodes in a row and sit still. I don't know what it is about Mickey!

DS is 3 and has only watched one movie-Frozen. He stood for most of it, and moved around a lot, but it held his attention for the most part.

@lawbee11: Sadie never sits through an entire movie at home. I wouldn't expect her to make it all the way through for a while!
