Goosebumps!! I had them all! I also loved the Wayside School and American Girl books.

Anne of green gable series and red fern made me bawl too.
I liked reading sweet dreams teen romance books when I was younger. Haha!

Harry Potter - First book came out when I was 12.

My favorite was definitely A Little Princess. I loved the Sweet Valley Twins books too and read a lot of Baby Sitter's Club.

I should add, the older I got, I loved Little House on the Prairie...and Harry Potter from about age 11 to present. I reread them all about every other year.

@gingerbebe: I really liked the self subsistence books too. My Side of the Mountain and The Far Side of the Mountain I read several times. I got to meet and interview the author a couple years go...she's in her 90s now!!

I love(d) reading so I read all the usual stuff...Little House on the Prairie, Babysitters Club, Boxcar Children, Sweet Valley High, etc.

Trixie Belden (mystery), and there was a historical fiction series I loved, but I can't remember what it was called. Similarly, I did love the my America and American girls books

My mom got me started on Boxcar Children, from there I always had a book open. BSC was a hit along with Saddle Club and Thoroughbred book series (horse crazy much?)
