I thought DH was an arrogant prick when we met in college! It took about 2 years for us to be friends.

"What a jack ass!!"
We were in grade 9 (!!) and a murderer escaped from the local courthouse, so our school was on lock down. I was having fries for lunch and a friend asked if he could have one. I said sure. Then DH just grabbed one too and kept walking! Jerk! Then the next year we started dating and have been together ever since!

I thought he was hot and had that bad boy vibe! I thought he'd be fun to date but never thought I'd marry him!!!!

HOTT. I thought he was super sexy. We met through a friend and our first date was at a bar, and daaaang he looked fine. It was even better when after the bar I went back to his place and played video games/drank booze and he LOVED that I would play video games with him!

I thought he was a total tool/geek. He knows I thought this and I say it to his face. He is super geeky, but in the best possible way. (Think Rachel Maddow about physics!)

Sexy! And "boss". And he still is 6yrs later. I told him it was lust at first sight:) he did turn out to be an even better man than I could ever imagine though once we got to know each other.

Hot! He was the cutest and hottest Asian guy I had ever seen. He was bowling in the lane next to mine and he gave me a dirty look so then I thought he was a jerk. Turns out he was looking at someone behind me who was throwing their bowling ball weird.

Well we met at a wedding, he kept asking and asking me to dance and I kept turning him down...and finally after quite a few drinks I agreed and we danced all night.
Then our first date I couldn't decide if I could see it going anywhere! haha but gave him a second date and from then on we were inseperable, he relaxed and was himself so I got to actually know him!

I am his little sister's best friend, so I met him when I was like 7. I'm sure my first impression was something like "eww, cooties!"

I thought he was really quiet (as in, he didn't talk AT ALL), but after he loosened up, he wouldn't be quiet. He's very sneaky. I resisted for about two weeks and then gave in and we've been together ever since.

We met online, so my first impression was his profile and I thought he knew himself, confident and happy with just being himself.

I thought he was really cute!!! He was definitely a jokester. We had the same class together in college, and it had a lab, and I was in his lab group. It was a construction class about construction materials, and I was the only girl in the class so of course everyone always watched what I did! hahaha Well in this lab we had to build a child's play house, and for the life of me I could nail 2 pieces of wood together, so this cute guy (DH) came up and helped me. Then I got pissed off actaully because I wanted to prove that I could do it myself. And I did. Well ever since that day we were inseperable!

Everyone warned me DH was an asshole and so he was. After I started working with him he made the first move and I didnt think much of him. LOL

I didn't think twice about him when we were introduced. Heck, I didn't even recall his name! I wasn't on the look for a guy, and he was just around to have a good time over the summer. It took about 4 months before I even really started "looking at him" and getting to know him better.

I thought he was goofy...his hair was longer and floppy, and I thought he looked like a cross between Christ Elliot and Shaggy from Scooby Doo. Not my type, but he was really funny.

We met at the end of freshman year of college, on one of those nights right before finals when everyone just gets wasted. And yet, we both specifically remembering meeting each other (I thought nothing of him, he thought I was the cute girl who lived across the hall from his friends
We didn't hang out again until senior year and even after we started hooking up, I did NOT think it would go anywhere. Our first kiss was 10 years ago in the beginning of March!

First time we met I thought he was super shy, cute, really nice & a closet freak. I was right. We met at a dance & dh says I'm the only girl who has ever gotten him to dance, ever (his friends have confirmed this). We had a connection right away. For a while I was twisted cause he was to nice (I was use to dating thugs) but the sex was amazing! What's a girl to do!? So I married him

Very hot and a little mysterious. We didn't talk for a couple weeks but just stared at each other from a distance, so I wasn't sure if he was sketchy.
My first impression when we talked was that he was nice but kind of full of himself and kind of awkward. But soooo hot, I wasn't drunk but still wanted to jump him right there in public. I know we made everyone else feel awkward since we didn't start dating for awhile but just undressed each other with our eyes anytime we were around each other.

Extremely quiet. We met in middle school and became friends and he was So. Shy. He stayed super quiet until we started dating in college.

When I first saw his photos (we were set up by our siblings), I didn't think he was my type because he had tattoos. Turns out, he was my type

I thought he was so cute, which was surprising because I never care about how attractive a guy is. In fact I thought he was so cute that he wouldn't ever give someone like me the time of day, which was kind of confirmed when we first hung out and some other girl showed up and tried to claim him. It turned out she was a desperate cougar, and he asked me out right away.

I met him while I was a junior in highschool, he was a friends boyfriends older brother. A marine home on leave from Japan. My parents hated him, I thought he was the cutest, sweetest, most caring guy ever. We were inseparable until he had to go back to Japan. My Dad put a stop to our letters and contact. No way his daughter was going to date an older marine!
We re-met 10 years later, at a bar that our friends drug us to on Halloween. We have been together every single day since. I moved in with him pretty much the next day

I thought he was needy and a bit of a tool. We didn't start dating until over 2 years later. He got wayyyy hotter and less needy. It was a good wait time.

He's young and immature, kind of dorky too. But then I checked out his facebook pics and found a chiseled 6 pack and thought he was hot.

I thought he was cute but awfully quiet and shy. And his wardrobe needed work for sure. I was seeing someone else at the time, and I was eager for the evening to end so I could go see this other fellow.

I loved his smile and laugh. He was interviewing at a vet practice I was working at- I really hoped he would get the job! He did and here we are 11 years later.

I love reading these!
I met my husband freshman year of high school--we never officially met, we were just in the same English class. I didn't think much of him because we didn't really interact much. He was short and skinny and kind of a nerd.
Sophomore year I got to know him a little bit, and he seemed sweet and funny. I also got to know his girlfriend, and she was one of the most boring people I'd ever met, and also very possessive. I remember wondering what the hell a sweet boy like him was doing with such a blah, nasty girl! I didn't have any romantic feelings for him until a few years later.
