DD1- On my due date I felt normal and perfectly happy - I never got that "get the baby out!" feeling. The next day I felt so crummy - like I was coming down with the flu. My whole body just ached and I felt so awful. That night I started to have cramps that got stronger through the night so I couldn't sleep and contractions started around 2am

For DD I had been in the early stages of labor for 4 days. I was bleeding and knew something was up. Went to the hospital every day. They sent me home every day. Then my water broke. That's when I officially knew I was in labor.
With DS my water broke but labor didn't start til hours later

@wrkbrk: Oh I can beat that, my first (and only) LO, my first sign of labor was my water broke totally out of nowhere at 39+6. SPLOOSH WTF just like in the movies. Two hours later I was holding DD in my arms.

@wrkbrk: I felt a pop and when I stood up it felt like I peed myself. I waddled into the bathroom and it was a pretty constant leak. Once I could get off the toilet I kept feeling like I was dribbling. I smelled my pants and they didn't smell like urine. Honestly I was questioning it until we got to the hospital and they tested it. But at that point my contractions were on top of each other so I knew it was the real deal.
