Honestly it was the b-word. My parents apparently fought dirty constantly when I was young (makes sense since they divorced when I was 10) so I picked up that word and began pointing at anything and everyone I saw and repeating it. My mother was mortified.

I don't know what mine was, but my stepsister's was "fruck". The story is that her older brothers were trying to teach her to say "truck", but we're all willing to bet they were trying to teach her to say "f*ck".

I don't remember what my first word was. I think it was "Baba," which was my attempt at Barbara, my daycare provider. My first sentence was "Can I have some?" I was asking for strawberry milk.
