I would always break up with someone if I realized we weren't going to marry, so my relationships tended to end before too much time had gone by. I don't think I ever dated anyone more than 18 months?

3 years? It was a weird, on again, off again, living together and having sex regardless of whether we were off or on. It was a pretty destructive situation.
