Not entirely sure, but I believe she was dating my dad and working at the post office. She didn't marry him until her later 20s, and became a SAHM when she had me at 33.

Childless newlywed! Had her masters and working at a hospital in MY i think doing social work.

I'm not sure what she was doing for work...I think teaching...and she'd been married for 9 years but was still a year away from having her first child!

At my age (29), she and my dad were still unmarried, and had taken a year off work to take an epic roadtrip to Alaska, stayed the summer & fall, and drove back to San Fransisco. where their beater of a pickup broke down on the Golden Gate Bridge. My mom always jokes that at the end of the trip how she had borrowed $200 from my dad, who owed $200 to someone else, so their net worth was exactly $0.

I was 9, my sister was 5, and she was in school and working.

At my age, 27, my mom was a high school special ed teacher and she and my dad had been married for 8 years but hadn't had me yet. I wasn't born until she was 28.

At the age of 30, she had 4 kids (ages 1, 2, 3, 10). I believe she went back to work after my youngest brother was born.
Me? 0 kids. Oh, and a very spoiled dog.

She was raising (with my dad) a 13 y/o boy, a 9 y/o girl, and a 6 y/o girl (me) and working LOL we had just moved to AZ from CA. Wow. I can't even imagine LOL

My mom just became a mom. I was 6-7 months old. She was working for a major technology company selling solutions to businesses and local governments.

My mom had an 11 year old and a 3 year old. I think she was a SAHM still at this point (she went back to work when I was 4 or 5 I think…)

Mom @ 27: Just married, working as a nurse. Would have a kid a year later.
Me @ 27: Married, one kid, pregnant, working part time.
I went more retro than her, apparently. She worries *constantly* about my older sister who isn't married yet though!
