At 24, Mum was a SAHM with a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old, probably missing me on the days I was in school.

I believe she was with my dad and they were backpacking/living in Europe & the Middle East. She wouldn't have my oldest brother for another 4 years....not sure if my parents were even married yet ? .....

When my mom was my age, she hadn't yet met my dad and was living at home with her parents and working as a legal secretary! She was dating another guy at the time. My parents met two years later, and only dated for 6 months before they got married.

At 30 my mom had one child (me!) and was not too far off from getting pregnant with my sister. I think she was still working as a teacher at that point before having 3 more kids and being a SAHM.

At nearly 33, she had 5 kiddos :12,9,8,6,and almost 2. She was a SAHM. Cannot imagine!

Mom @ 31: married (27) pregnant with her first LO (my bro) and teaching kindergarten
Me @ 31: married (29) and have a 3 month old and am an SLP (on mat leave)
We are actually pretty similar at this stage.

At 38, my mom had a 16 year-old (me) and a 12 year-old. She'd just broken up with a long-term boyfriend and bought a small condo for the three of us, and was working in sales.
Me at 38: pregnant for the first time, married and working in marketing.

At 29, my mom was pregnant with me! I was her first, after one miscarriage. She and my dad had bought a small house, and she was working as an ER nurse.
At 29, I am pregnant with our baby due in April, after two miscarriages. We still rent, and I am still in school, but I am happy!
ETA: My mom had 5 kids in her 30s. Growing up, I always thought 30 was when people started to have babies! After I got married, it seemed late, but apparently, for me, it's just right

my mom: 28, was married to my dad (currently divorced and has remarried), had an 11 year old (me), a 10 year old and an 8 year old. she was working full time drafting for an architecture company.
me: 28, am married (for 6.5 years), sahm to a 15 month old and and ttc #2.
we are/were in completely different worlds.
