The room that is going to be our nursery used to be a workout room and spare guest room. We still have to remove a treadmill, workout bench, weights and a workout ball! All of this is being moved into my husband's office. I'm hoping it makes him want to clean it out.

Our future nursery (still needs to be dismantled and readied for baby) is our guest room. We are finishing 2 new bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs to accommodate guests, so they will still have somewhere to stay post-baby,

It was an empty room - we didn't put anything in it because we knew/hoped there would be a baby soon-ish.

The room that we have designated to be the nursery is empty. The closet has some baby things that were ours that we would like to use.

When we moved in we knew it was going to be a nursery, but the people who lived there before us used it for their birds. (And I'm kind of creeped out by birds!) We had to scrub it down and air it out for a couple weeks before we could paint and work in there!

The formal guest room (we had a whole set of furniture in there, queen bed and all). We moved it to the other guest room when we made it the nursery. (the other guest room was my crafting room-- that's gone now, boo.) Not quite sure what to do for the next child though, when that time comes-- never thought I'd need a 4 bedroom house!! I just don't feel comfortable putting the grandparents in the basement or living room when they come.

olive's nursery was charlie's playroom. i got pregnant a month after we moved here, so we knew it would be her room all along!

Our dogs' room. Yep, we're "those" people. Before baby it had a dog bed, a ratty sofa from college that our dogs loved, and an ottoman for the dogs to sit on to look out the window.

Our future baby nursery for baby number 1 is our current guest bedroom/storage of random stuff.
If we have a 2nd child of a different gender, then that baby's nursery is currently our office. If we have babies of the same gender, I think we might have them share a room to keep the office...which would be an office/playroom. But who knows.

It's still a part time guest room, but the computer has since moved out.

We moved when I was 8 months pregnant so it was always a nursery. We have a guest bedroom now that we'd like to make into a nursery eventually for our next baby.

The room that we will turn into a future nursery is one of two guest rooms. However - the previous owners had it as their nursery for their lil boy and have these beautiful built in closet organizers that are fit for LOs... and the room is blue grayish ... thinking of changing the color... but def excited for the closet!

It is our office - we have a spare room upstairs that we have a daybed, piano, and other items in and we're going to reshuffle and also make that our office.

An office. It's slightly smaller than the guest room and I like it for the baby, lots of great light and toward the front of the house (but still close to our room). I'm moving the office to the basement's front room (the one that is the same deminsion as our upstairs living room) and will also create a baby play space down there for things like tummy time and some of her gear I don't want in my living room and in her room. Ikea has been my best friend

@owlmom: Ha. Our future nursery is also currently our dogs room. It has a box of toys, two dog beds, and a couple of chairs for us to sit in.

Ours is the office. The office will move to the basement once it is finished, hopefully before June!
