@fancyfunction: omgo had the worst craving the second time around for legit NYC style super thin crust, oozey, gooey, cheesy pizza. Never did satisfy that craving.

@regberadaisy: Not to rub it in, but I live in NY and there's a pizza place practically everywhere you turn. So I go for what I'm in the mood for that day

With this one I haven't had as many. Watermelon early on and now carrots. I want them constantly but I'm anemic and pretty sure it's from that...

In the first trimester it was carbs, carbs, carbs. All I wanted to eat was sandwiches, pizza, and pasta. Towards the end I couldn't get enough of salt and vinegar chips. I developed a ton of food aversions and 10 months pp, I still cant' bring myself to eat those foods.

I didn't have too many food cravings, but for like 2 weeks I was obsessed with buffalo wings! And it had to be spicy Buffalo sauce.I mainly wanted the sauce and didn't really care about the chicken, lol. We got WingStop like 6 times in those 2 weeks! DH wasn't complaining.

With my first it was OJ- I went through so much in the first half of my pregnancy. And burgers and meat in general.
This time I just have an insatiable sweet tooth. Oh and ate tons of mango, especially dried mango.
And lots of carbs with both, but honestly I always like carbs and am probably just indulging that more.

1st: oranges, asparagus and watermelon (in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimesters, respectively).
2nd: Spicy chicken ramen noodles (like the microwaveable salt bombs that you get for a buck at the store?). Luckily that didn't last long. Currently orange juice.

But that's pretty normal. With LO 1 I are a cinn raisin bagel with cream cheese almost every day the last 3/4 months of pregnancy. Couldn't get enough! LO 2 I didn't have anything specific, although I was super into pickles and anything vinegar-y, how cliche.

First pregnancy it was all over the place but I wanted a lot of burgers and avocados. This pregnancy it is just meat, but usually more specifically burgers still!

I usually (non pregnant) have a super sweet tooth and no self control around candy or desserts. I figured it would be the same while pregnant. Instead I wanted salty stuff. In the first tri I couldn't handle anything sweet at all.

I did not have any with my son, but with this pregnancy it is vinegar-based things: hot sauce, balsamic dressing, chimmichurri sauce....and then of course I proceed to get heartburn but it does not stop me. I want it all the time!!

Potatoes! The whole first trimester, and well into the second, I wanted potatoes in any form. Mashed, french fries, chips - I think I was seeking the fat & salt.

With LO1, the only real craving I had was mint chocolate chip ice cream. I don't usually like that flavour.
With this pregancy, it's nothing specific, just anything carby - bread, pasta, potatoes, casseroles, etc.

With my first, orange juice. A craving I definitely did not give into was for gin and tonics. I wanted one SO badly the whole time I was pregnant!

DS - aside from carbs in the 1st trimester, I craved Bahama Buck's snocones all the flipping time. It helped that he was born in July so the warm weather made the setting just right.
DD - I craved plain noodle soup like banh canh and fruit during the 1st trimester. No current cravings in the 2nd.

Celery. I remember my mom packed me a huge ziploc bag full of celery for a flight, and I was really self conscious about the crunching sounds, but I couldn't stop munching!

DS1 - ice cream and Cheetos (not together :)) And in the first trimester, I wanted carbs, specifically potatoes and cheese, and really unhealthy salads drenched in ranch
DS2 - not much really. I did want cheeseburgers in the first trimester and my chip preference turned to Doritos.

DS1 - carbs, fruit (especially grapefruit), juice and lemonade, hamburgers, hot fries
DS2 - salads, avocado and guacamole. Then in the third tri I craved all carbs and sweet things.
