My mom wants all of my LO's clothes when we are done with them....she will keep a couple of her favorites (for my bro's future kids ) and donate the rest through her church.

I don't know. If this one is a boy, I may take the boxes up to the consignment store and see what they will give me. I could use the money to buy new boys stuff.
After that I'm not sure. I wouldn't mind saving for future nieces/nephews but I don't have the ability to store them. So if my mom/brother/sister want them, they would have to take them now!

I am going to keep my favorites and donate the rest. I really don't think a second (baby) is in the cards for us.

Still wondering what to do with DS's old clothes, thinking about selling since we are more than likely 2 and through!

I am saving my favorites to eventually turn into a quilt - other stuff gets sold or donated

Saving until we have LO #2. If it turns out to be a boy, I'll sell/save/donate.

I have been keeping my favorites and passing the rest on to my SIL.

Currently, I'm saving the clothes for LO #2. After that, I'll hand them down to friends or donate them. We have a boy. If we have a girl (hopefully), I'll definitely reuse the pants and neutral tops. I have far too many awesome pants to have them go to waste in favor of a different color.

I have been keeping my favorites, passing stuff in good condition to my sister, and tossing the rest (stuff that is stained). As my sister gives stuff back to us, I'll store it until we decide whether or not we're having another and if that one is a boy; otherwise I'll donate/consign it.

We are holding on to the stuff we feel attached to or really love and passing on the rest. We just don't have the space to keep everything in case of a 2nd LO.

Keeping till #2 is here. Then I will donate/try and sell what I don't keep.

I am in the process of weeding out extras that we don't need to keep for the possibility of a second child. I am going to try and sell some and then donate or find someone to give them to.

I'm in the process of going through all his clothes for the past two years right now! I'll be donating some that aren't as nice, trying to sell some of the nicer items, and keeping my absolute favorites
IF we have another kid, it's so long off that I can't justify holding onto this much stuff.

We'll hang on to them for LO #2 and use what we can and then donate them afterwars, or give them to a friend.

I gave away my girl clothes to friends as soon as I found out I was having a son as my 2nd. I have been consistently passing down all my boy clothes to my sister (her due date is tomorrow eeeee!!) as J grows out of them.
I kept a few key pieces as keepsake items though, so not all is lost!

My brother is expecting in August, but they don't know, yet, what they're having. If it's a boy, he'll be set, though! I have so much clothes.
I have no idea what to do with S's things. The only thing that I *want* to do with them is save them for another baby girl I might get. But, I don't even know if I ever want another baby after this one! I'm sure I'll sell them or something eventually.

Keeping for #2 and will donate afterwards. Some items DD didn't even wear yet or wore only once. We were gifted lots of 0-3 and 3-6 month clothing.

I'll keep my favourites and definitely all of the unisex clothes for LO #2. After that I'll just donate them to friends.

@Kimberlybee: LOL same here!!!
When we're done having kids I will probably sell the nicer pieces then hand down the rest to friends or family.

@Kimberlybee: Same here. For the first few months, LO wore kimono tops and a swaddle. We never really dressed him in sleepers until we really established a bedtime routine.

I was going to save everything for #2 (if we have another girl), but I would like to buy some new pieces so I'll prob sell a few things and keep my faves.

I have to go through all of them once we find out the gender for our third. I'll keep the special ones and donate the rest.

I have them in plastic bags labeled with the sex and size, e.g., "Boy 12-18 months" or "Girl 4 years old" and I have the bags in big plastic bins in the garage. I plan on using the boy stuff for the next LO and giving away the girl stuff whenever one of my friends/relatives gets pregnant.

@cascademom: @locavore_mama: I wore her in the same outfits that looked comfortable (summer baby). She slept in onesies. I really want another summer baby again.

Keep faves n donate rest! When we're done having babies!

None of my friends/siblings are having babies any time soon so I've started selling them, and whatever I can't sell of the little things I'll donate to our NICU, and the bigger stuff to a shelter or something.
pineapple / 12793 posts
I'm keepin' them until we're done.
I'd pass them on to my sisters, but they're both a ways away from TTC.
pomelo / 5524 posts
Keeping them for #2. Once we're through with them, I'll either hang on to them for my younger brother and SIL or donate them.

I'm keeping it all until we are done having kids. Then I'll see if anything is worth selling or donating!
pomegranate / 3779 posts
We were given our god daughter's clothes since she is 15 mo older than LO and many of the clothes were their god daughter's, so we will pass them back and forth for the next round of LOs and then donate when we are all done.
We will probably keep the really nice stuff that we were gifted or I bought and sell through a local consignment sale once we are done with LOs.

Right now I'm keeping for LO #2 in case it's a girl...otherwise I will sell/donate.
cantaloupe / 6669 posts
I am keeping everything to see if LO#2 is a girl. If we have a boy, I will keep favorites & give the rest to friends. My mom saved a lot of my clothes & S is able to wear them now which is really special to me! Some of her clothes are unisex, especially her newborn things, so I will be able to use them for a little brother too.
nectarine / 2220 posts
I pack all the gender neutral stuff in a rubbermaid bin with my maternity clothes, and will hang on to it for a likely #2. All the specifically girl stuff is packed up separately, and we'll use it if we have another girl and sell/give away/donate it if we have a boy.
