@Mrs. Jump Rope: Haha I was thinking the same thing, where will I put all of the things she will be getting?!Time to donate some things I guess She actually doesn't have a ton but I hate clutter!

@Bao: My family is huge and they go overboard, even on the bigger kids and adults. And, my house is small.
I keep purging and sifting through toys, but tbh she still plays with *everything*.
Time to SERIOUSLY make our gameroom a playroom.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: You really should, we have a small playroom and it's nice to have a place to keep everything!

@Bao: our gameroom is currently the man cave. it's small and narrow, like 12x19 maybe?? and barely fits our love seat, elliptical and DHs desk & bookcase. We have to get rid of a lot. He's off the next week or two, so maybe it's time we really get serious. I'll have to move my office down there once we have baby #2, so it's going to be a tight squeeze..

My MIL is giving her a hand-me-down train table.
My mom gave her my old set of Little People (house, store, school, firetruck, school bus, etc)
We aren't really getting her much. Books, clothes, crafts, etc.

@MrsMccarthy: Cute! Lemme know how he likes it, D wants to get E something similar for Easter.
Eh...nothing big. We really don't have the space right now for anything big. I was going to get him a play kitchen anyway, but D begged me to wait until early next year, after we've purged our apartment some.
I think his biggest thing from us is the little people farm, and my mom bought him a hug me Elmo thing.

@MrsMccarthy: he'll love his bike!! we got one in the summer and it took a couple of months for LO to not be intimidated by it but by the end of the summer he was asking to ride on it!
@LulaBee: i also made a teepee/tent!
Our big gifts are a DIY tent and a sled (which have both been opened/used/never wrapped! ):

My parents got her an anywhere chair, so that's her big gift. We just got her a couple of small things (glow seahorse and take along tunes).

We just got her small things for Christmas - some bath toys and a wooden stacking toy. I knew the extended family would spoil her so I didn't want to go overboard. My brother and SIL have got her a VTech sit to stand walker and I suspect that will be the big hit of Christmas for her.

We just got her a few toys to unwrap - little people princess castle, couple puzzles, extra trains for her train set. Like @littlek: the biggie is $8k in her savings.

@mrs. wagon: glad I'm not the only one who regifts bday presents! LO's first birthday was in October and we only opened about a third of the gifts for her to play with. It's just so much stuff! So we've been saving the rest for her Christmas gifts. We also bought her a few new books and pj's!

Her big gift (and really only gift besides clothes) is the Fisher Price Disney Princess Klip Klop Stable. She is going to LOVE it. I still want to get her another princess to go with it (probably Ariel if I can find it in a store nearby). ILs are getting her a Minnie Mouse chair and who knows what else. She also is getting a fancy baby doll from DH's best friend's parents.

Since the littles are so close in age, we're jointly giving them the FP barn. DS will then get the tractor/farmer set and DD will get the garden/fruit stand set. I figure since their birthdays are only one and three months from now we'll round out the rest of the FP farm set then I've got a plan you see
Not a hundred percent sure about what our parents and relations are getting them...

They are not getting anything big from us this year. Their uncle did get them an electric thomas the train and track set so that will be their larger present this xmas.

@bpcmarj: check target for ariel! they have the set of all the princesses, but they did have the mini sets of 2 (beauty and beast, ariel and eric, etc.) - also I think TRU/BRU and WalMart have the princesses!

My parents got her an exersaucer, and we only got her a couple of little things. Who knows what the IL's will get, they go way overboard, but she's just a baby so hopefully they will keep it to a minimum!

@MamaMoose: LOL! Love that idea!
Our big gift is a play kitchen that we just finished assembling. She doesn't really know how to play with it yet though!

We got her the Anywhere chair for her bday 2 weeks ago, so she's getting a bunch of smaller things from us like a zylophone, wooden blocks, play food, etc. But I know my parents already got her a PBK rocker, a Melissa & Doug piano and God knows what else.

@LulaBee: both! I looked up plans for a-frame tents (instead of going the teepee route) and we figured out our own measurements. And then I used hem tape instead of sewing the fabric. It was super easy!
