LO1 won't be going to preschool from June through August and I have NO idea what we will do. LO2 is 2 years old so it's the first year I don't have a little baby who needs to eat and nap a lot. I don't want our summer to fly by and look back and realize we didn't do anything.

I have Fridays off all summer so we will spend a lot of weekend at my parents house with the beach and pools quite close by! LO will probably lose her nap entirely and hopefully she will get out of her 3 year old funk as she will be turning 4.

Our summers just meld with the rest of the year - DD will be in summer camp FT at her current school and I am looking for FT camps for DS right now.
I would love to have a few weeks home to do nothing!

Still our same schedule, but it will include a lot more weekend/evening outings. The park, playing outside, zoo trips, walking through gardens, ect. I love staying busy and exploring the outdoors. DD2 will be walking and down to 1 nap so it will be perfect!

It'll sort of be like the rest of the year, since he'll be in daycare. But there will be the slight change in that we'll be bringing home LO2 in August 
. We're going on vacation to the Cape (Cod) in June, then pretty much status quo for July. I hope before the baby comes we can do some fun stuff with our family of 3.
I have a SAHM friend who I get so jealous of in the summer. She's always doing fun stuff with her two girls. They have a friend who has a pool so they go there occasionally, they live closer to the beach then we do so they go a lot, plus other fun outdoor stuff like strawberry picking, going to parks, playing outside. I like working, but she makes me wish I could stay home sometimes!

I'm hoping to spend a lot of time this summer at the splash pad and our friend's pool, now that the kids are a little older and on one nap. We're also planning to enroll them in baby soccer (soccer/story time combo for 2-3 year olds). I'm so excited about that!

Thanks for the reminder, i had to register my son for his camp sessions.
8 weeks of camp at his preschool, and then 2 weeks vacation when my inlaws are here. We spend the weekends in our pool.

It will basically look like it does any other time of the year since they will both still be in full time daycare. Daycare is a little less structured in the summer since a lot of kids go on vacation. They go to the city beach every week, which is nice for them. We'll be traveling at the beginning of the summer and maybe at some other point before elementary school starts in the fall.

Same as the rest of the year since we both work full time so both girls will still be in daycare. But hopefully be more pool time of the weather cooperates. Our nieces will also be here for a whole month this summer so that will be fun.

Well, this year, she will get a new baby sister in April, turn 3 in July and start preschool in September. Her routine will stay largely the same until Sept, except I will be on maternity leave so our mornings will be less rushed. I expect we will spend a lot of time at the park at the weekends.

Lots of trips to the library and swimming pool. Our community pool is down our block, and that's where you'll find us most of the summer. Hoping to take a few road trips as well.

Same as the rest of the year since we both work FT, but I'm hoping for some more weekend day trips to the beach. I'd love to have some "mommy and me" dates with DS especially before LO2 arrives mid-summer.

T will be going to "camp" at his school two days a week; we still have nanny and I still work. We just bought a house with a pool so I imagine we will spend lots of time swimming and playing outside on my days off. We also live near the beach, so I'm sure we'll have plenty of beach days.

Swim lessons, tot soccer, and her third birthday. Tons and tons of beach days, picnics, hikes and bbq's. Potentially starting preschool.

We try to do a rough schedule. Like Mondays we usually go to the library, Tuesdays pool, Wednesdays playdate, Thursdays pool, Fridays something else (zoo, museum, lunch out), weekends parks/chill at home.

I don't really know yet; need to figure it out! Still debating whether to send kids to camp part time. I told DH last night I want to move in July but we need to decide where/how far.

I feel like our weeks now are so structured that we'll be searching for things to do! I know we'll go to playgrounds a lot and to the beach or splash park sometimes. We have family visit for a couple weeks and we take day trips or even overnight sometimes to see my parents. We will probably do a couple weeks of swim lessons too.

preschool 3x a week, swim class, soccer, tee ball, trip to NYC, Chicago, and lots of up north trips; and overall more time outside, zoo, library, etc.

My 2.5 year old will be meeting his little brother, so we don't have too much planed until Aug. We'll be going down the shore to visit grandparents, swimming, he'll go to "camp" 2 dats a week, and playing outside all day!

It will be pretty much the same because I SAH, but we will go to the pool and the splash pad a lot! I'm hoping to put LO in swim lessons. Her ballet class will end so she will probably do a dance camp. It gets HOT here in the summer so we will probably need to work on adjusting our schedule earlier and doing things like the park earlier in the morning.
I'm a little sad that she will be starting preschool 2 days per week in August - and we are likely going to TTC soon - so I want to make a "SAHM bucket list" of special things I want to do while she's home with me every day and it's just her & I. I'm thinking one really hot day we'll have a PJs & movies day for sure

I have the summer off and I CANNOT wait!! I'm hoping to really take advantage of two months of getting to be a SAHM and all the stuff I can't do while working. We'll go to the beach a ton with my sister and her kids (we went about once a week last summer and I can imagine even more now that our kiddos are bigger) and hope to spend a lot of time outside. And then hope to do library time, maybe take a music class and swim lessons.

It's probably our last summer in the city so I will try to make the most of it- but I'm worried to going to be hard with a toddler and baby. Last summer we tried out lots of splash pads and should be able to do that again, and there's a small pool that maybe I could do with both of them. And we have a city beach really close so I'll try to do that as much as we can, given naps and sun protection and such. And lots of time at the parks.
It will be tough making a routine without classes and stuff that we do during the school year.

Usually we spend mornings outside (beach/park/backyard) home for lunch and nap and then playing outback again before dinner. Then walking outside or at the beach after dinner. My son loves to be outside.
Baby 2 is coming end of June but hoping we can still spend lots of time outside and at the beach.

Little miss will be one this summer. My DH is a teacher, so we will have the summer with all three of us together! Eeeee! I'm so excited! Hopefully there will be lots of trips to the pool, zoo, museum, and park. And tons of other fun things! I can't wait!

I have the summer off so I'll be home with DS2. DS1 will still be in daycare full time but I'm sure we'll go do stuff here and there. Zoo, museum etc.
