My mom says she never picked a boy's name because she had a gut feeling she was having a girl.

@snowjewelz: Picked your own names?? I need an explanation on that one, haha!

Mine probably would have been my younger brother's name, which is Lance.

@wonderstruck: I was born and raised in HK... In 2nd grade we had a Caucasiam teacher and she couldn't possibly remember kids' Chinese name so those w/o one were told to get one! My mom bought a baby name book and I just picked one!

Charles! My sisters would have been Edward if they were boys. Apparently my parent's liked the Queen's naming style.

The same either way, just different spelling... my parents were hippies.

Hmmm that is a good question! My mom said there were no gender scans back in the day so I'm thinking they must have considered a few boy names. I do know that my dad considered naming me Geraldine at some point but my mom vetoed it. I'm happier with the name I have than being a Geri.

@MrsTiz: I would've been Nicholas, too! My parents liked it so much that I was named Nicole...either way, I was destined to be a "Nic/Nick"

@lindsayinny: @mrs.sunshine: We should start an "almost Brian club"!

@rahlyrah: You dodged a bullet on that one. Hopefully we're not insulting anyone's DH/DS's name.

I think my husband would have been Christina, which is a little weird because that's pretty close to my name.

I have NO CLUE what my boy name would've been...I'll have to ask my mom! I know DH would have been a Jennifer (Jenny) bc my mil said there was a distant cousin one town over who was born the month before him and that's what she was named so she had trouble deciding if she'd change what she chose or not
