Also, what would you pack for a beach weekend?
I'm getting by on maternity bottoms and a mix of nonmaternity / maternity tops right now. I have a maxi skirt, and a couple pairs of shorts and leggings are my best friend.
DH and I are also going to Miami/SBeach for a long weekend in a few weeks and am looking to add a few vacation pieces, but not sure what to pack/buy?

I wore mostly dresses- knee or maxi length, or maxi skirts and ruched tanks- but I was due at the end of July so I was really pregnant in the summer, and I didn't have a little one already. Or for when I didn't care, stretchy capris and a tunic tank.

Light weight dresses! DS was born in July so I lived in dresses in the summer. I didn't own maternity shorts.

@mrsjyw: oh I see! Then yeah, I had this one dress from old navy that I wore a ton (similar to this one). And big loose tunics paired with a pair of fold over capris from target, non maternity. Maxi dresses and skirts were nice because you couldn't tell if I shaved my legs. My problem was bras- my boobs got really big so I couldn't wear anything scrappy at all.
I'm the opposite, had a July baby last time but this one is due in dec. afraid of trying to get a winter coat!

I bought tons of stretchy dresses at Target. They weren't all maternity either. I bought up to XL in non-maternity if I needed it, lol. Easy!!

@Foodnerd I just bought that dress last weekend and it's super comfy! Not really dressy though.
I live in south FL. It's already super hot. I wear light skirts (Old Navy has some stretchy jersey ones), I have some maternity shorts, and my favorite tank tops are Liz Lange from Target. And any kind of lightweight dress! The shorts are a must being down here. I wear shorts + the Liz Lange tank tops on weekends/not at work.
It is too hot here for leggings!

I had 1 pair of maternity shorts from Asos and the rest are all maternity dresses or regular maxi dresses!

I just wore beachwear the whole time and brought a maxi dress for dinner. Swimsuits, work out shorts, long t-shirts.

@Foodnerd81: hehe, I got by with a long sweater/coat and my winter jacket unzipped (had a late Nov baby) before it got really cold! Hopefully it doesn't get too cold/snowy before baby's arrival where you are!

So far I've got a pair of denim shorts, a couple of tank dresses, and I'm still wearing jeans and leggings!
I'm still wanting to wait til the anatomy ultrasound to get much more. I don't know why, I can't shake the worried feeling!
