For someone who has everything, I would probably buy a gift certificate. I know it sounds impersonal, but I hate buying gifts for people and knowing that they will probably never use them.

Spa gift card? Sees chocolate? Does she like to cook or bake? There are always fun kitchen stuff I want! I always love a homemade basket of goodies only available locally to the gift giver! Like sauces/marinades, chocolates, snacks, etc.

@aprild: The problem with the gift card idea is that the gift is for my mother who has plenty of time and money - so any service I could pay for would be underwhelming!
@regberadaisy: I like the Sees chocolate idea - I think nice chocolates would be enjoyed. I will add it to my package.
@Mrs Green Grass: Ok, this idea is a winner to me and I never would have thought of it myself. My mom is a SAH wife (always has been) but also obviously an empty nester. My dad still works FT so she's home and bored a lot. I think she's love an adult coloring book! She always busies herself with puzzles and books but this is something new to her that I think she'd enjoy. Thanks for mentioning it!

Subscription to birchbox or another Beauty box if she likes makeup & beauty products? That's always my go to gift!

I am recently a big fan of zipper pouches, something fun that she will see when she reaches into her purse or beach bag. Tuck some chocolate, a Starbucks card and fabulous lipstick inside, it's like lots of personal little luxuries!
