Mmm I have a favorite meal similar to this, except all it is is toasted bread with mayo and a fried egg. Fried egg sandwich! I need to try your "fancy" version!

I love rice topped with a slice of kraft american cheese then microwaved so the cheese melts into the rice. I also like ramen with kraft american cheese melted into the soup. Has to be the kraft kind of cheese - none of that fancy, non-processed stuff!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: This fried egg and spam sandwich sounds delicious, I think I will try this for breakfast.

My favorite simple foods are:

1) spam fried rice
2) shrimp and pork spring rolls with peanut sauce for the dip- I could eat this everyday!
3) jack in the box egg rolls with sriracha sauce,

I also love a fried egg sandwich! except I hate yellow mustard. I ate a ton with my last pregnancy

When I was little I used to eat this a lot: bowl of rice, fill with water, slice up vienna sausages. Yes, gross, but it's my childhood!!

My parents also always used to feed us rice mixed with RAW EGG, soy sauce and sesame oil until they found out about salmonella. oops. It's a miracle none of us ever got sick!

Whenever I want a satisfying, quick meal I fry two eggs (over easy) and put them on toast. If I have guacamole I'll put that on the toast first. Yesterday I happened to have a slightly over-ripe avocado, so I cut out the brown parts and cubed it to eat on the side. Yum.

PBJ sandwiches

In the summer, I love a bowl of cottage cheese mixed with cherry tomatoes out of my garden with cracked black pepper and sea salt. My husband thinks its groooooss.

A bowl of pasta with butter and parmesan cheese. It is my comfort meal.

@mrs. wagon: my mom used to make me the same thing but with a fried egg with a very runny yolk - so rice, soy sauce, fried egg, sesame oil, mixed all together - and i still love this meal to this day! it's a comfort food definitely.

for me a quick satisfying meal is fry an egg over easy and mix it with rice, butter, sesame oil, and soy sauce. eat with kim chi.

Grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup! So simple, so satisfying, especially on a cold day!

It's funny, when I clicked into this I was already thinking that there's something about eggs that is so satisfying sometimes! I love runny eggs, although tonight I'm planning on just doing a "scrounge-in-the-fridge" dinner and will have scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and salsa. I'm looking forward to it

Yay, egg sandwiches! I ate the ones you get from Dell's and food carts a lot when I was on an early shift at work to warm up a little in the mornings. They're so filling and yummy I still crave them, so I get them when I have to be up for work extra early.
