High: It's Bunco night! I get to see a bunch of friends that I haven't seen in a while
Low: Hearing DD1 tell DH she didn't want me to put her to bed because "I don't like her"

Highs - L has been in a fantastic mood this week. Daycare drop of has been breezy and he's been less clingy to me and happy to go to DH. Also, I started working out again this week since getting back from our holiday. Feels good.
Lows - I think I'm getting a little cold that L picked up at daycare.

High- feeling tons of baby movement and getting a promotion at work!
Low- M has been in a terrible mood all week

High- LO 2 is feeling better after being sick last week
Low- nothing really stands out right now. Maybe hot weather?!

@autumnlove: I'm vetoing your hot weather low. I refuse to believe any hot weather could possibly be a low. Come take my rain away and I'll take your hot weather.

High- T can regularly roll over as of yesterday.
Low- I think we are in 4 mo sleep regression. She's 3.5 months. Mommy is tired.

High - DS is on a manners roll. He's saying thank you left and right. I absolutely love it!!!
Low - this shouldn't be a low because I am excited for them, but I keep hearing pregnancy announcements in my friend circle; and we're not. The most recent wasn't even trying and bam!

High - T came home early from his trip last night (yay!)
Low - H has had some horrifically massive poops. I'm kind of afraid that I'm going to wake up and it will be all over everything in the room because she has also started putting her hands down her pants (thank you, daycare friends).

High: found out that the adenoids that have been causing DS's ear infections have responded to antibiotics and lots of fresh air. So he doesn't need surgery to get them out!!! Also my boss didn't bite my head off about asking for more maternity leave.
Low: this contractor keeps calling and yelling at me about stuff I have no control over. I just love getting a talking to like a schoolgirl who got an F, first thing in the morning.

High: E has slept through 4 nights in the last five! Its the most she has ever done!
Low: It has been a really hard week at work.

High: C has started lifting up my shirt and kissing my belly when I ask her to say goodnight to the new baby. It melts my heart.
Low: first trimester went out with a hurrah of extreme exhaustion this weekend, coupled with random motn screaming wake ups from my toddler (nightmares?) where it takes her an hour to go back to sleep. Luckily I think my body got the memo that we are in the 2nd trimester and I can have a little energy back.

High - SIL had her baby making me an auntie!
Low - SIL had her baby first. Like everything else in this pregnancy...

High: Just about everything my 5.5 month old DD does. She's getting to be so much fun!
Low: Feeling like a bad mama and wife for having a crazy week at work and having to stay late/work at home a bunch this week.

High: DD has been really funny and mostly happy this week
Low: She threw a massive tantrum at lunch today and I had literally no idea what the f she wanted. It was incredibly frustrating because she refused to take even ONE bite of anything until I finally figured out she wanted a nectarine she saw on the table (which is bizarre because she has only had one once and she didn't like it). But then she ate the whole thing (then sobbed when it was gone). Not our finest hour.

High: Having baby boy after awesome 2 hour labor.
Low: DD crying for me because I was nursing DS.

High: Having my DD turn 6 months I just am in love with her
Low: She is not taking the zippy cup as well as she has been and I am solo afraid she will stop -
High: LO is having a "big boy" week -- trying new foods, saying new words, brushing his teeth on his own, being independent
Low: my knee is killing me and I've had to miss Crossfit all week

High: meeting friends for dinner tonight
Low: I haven't been great on my diet -
High - LO slept from 7-6:15 and I woke up on my own this morning without an alarm or a crying baby! It's a miracle!
Lows - 3 hours in traffic yesterday on my birthday and last minute feedback today on a work project that likely means a lot more work in not much time

High: my boys have been sleeping great in their shared room!
Low: being told that both of my boys are beyond behind in their speech.
plus we won't see my parents this weekend because of the weather.

High : LO loved his puddle jumper and swam at the pool like a little fish without a lot of fussing. We all had a great time!
Low: LO has decided pooping in the tub is a great evening activity argh.

High: DS mostly happy staying up two hours past his bedtime.
Low: Taking DS to the ER yesterday evening. He bit his tongue with a flap visible. Thankfully, he is fine.

@Corduroy: Congratulations! And it took a week or so for things to even out with LO1 after LO2 was born but they adjust very quickly!

High: got the genetic testing back on the new baby, all good!
Low: my 18 month old has been a fusspot allllll week. -
High: after starting and stopping a diet many times over the last 6 months i finally started again this week and started seeing results pretty quickly.
Low: lack of food/too much caffeine has made me so impatient!

High: DD is really working her personality and imaging more, DS was a great helper around the house and playing with DD
Low: I feel a little bit like I'm drowning... At work, at home... I can't keep up and DH is in the middle of a huge work transition and I am trying not to overwhelm him but I'm feeling like I can't do it all right now

High: I hired 2 teenagers to work for me.

High: My daughter said "I love you" to me for the first time (well more like "I loo oo" but I knew what she meant).
Low: TTC #2 isn't going as well as I'd hoped, had myself a little crying pity party today. -
High: so many this week! My very favorite high had to be watching DD in ballet today though
Low: a friend's child has gone missing and my heart breaks for her...I can't stop thinking about it

@HLK208: oh my gosh, that's devastating.High: R's preschool started up again after a break and she loves it and I got work done. Felt like I was pulling myself out from the weeds.
Low: it's so dang hot and I'm having a hard time adjusting to summer in such a hot place because usually summer is for being outside and it's just not okay when it's over 100 degrees. -
High: Went swimming with a friend (at 38 weeks it felt amazing!!!) and had pad thai.
Low: OB telling me I have gained too much weight today even though she hasn't mentioned it this whole pregnancy...

High- passed inspection.
Low- planning and preparing for my friends funeral which is Saturday. -
High - I got Lasik!
Low - I also had dental work! -
Low- got a bill in the mail saying my insurance denied a claim and we owe over $700,000 for the twins being in the Nicu.
High- after days of stressing and phone calls my work jumped on it and insurance ended up remitting and covering the bill. Talk about a huge sigh of relief

High - Today is vacation day! We are headed up to a cabin 3 hours away with my family for a relaxing weekend.
Low - DD1 has been regressing with potty training after being good since November! I don't know what else to do, I think it's because DD2 started at "her" daycare and she's jealous of the attention the baby is getting.

High - the pool, the park, walking trails, the splash pad...we are loving summer.
Low - molars. Poor baby is miserable and it is not making things easy for me either. I think he's cutting all of them? There are sharp edges everywhere in that little mouth.
