Just was reminded that we use to have more of these. Thought I would ask since it's a post-a-thon day.
We are having leftovers from the week. Our options are leftover pork chops, leftover fish (DH can have that) or leftover stew. Yum!

@snowjewelz: OMG you just reminded me st. Patrick's day is coming up... which mean... corn beef!! Yummers!! I usually stock up on the corn beef sale (as much as I can fit in my freezer) and eat it monthly for a few months after st. patrick's day. Haha.

@Raindrop: Yes! That is why we're already eating it haha. Prob will eat it again next week!

@snowjewelz: I love it! It's so soft and salty with soft cabbage, I am weird I eat it with rice and ketchup! Then I make sandwiches (with ketchup!) for lunches. DH is not a fan which is why I'm only allowed to cook it once a month when I stock up on it. Haha.

@Raindrop: I love it with spicy djion!! Hmm now I want some again!

@youboots: OOoo I would be more nervous than excited! Or maybe equally feeling both. I hope they hit it off!
Good luck!

Leftover Japanese curry for DH and I. DS will probably want to pick the carrots and potatoes out of the curry and I will make him some baby sushi with some sausage in the middle.

@travellingbee: Oh is that good? I have always wanted to try food from Omaha steaks. Would you recommend it?
@gingerbebe: Yum. I do love Japanese curry. Do you use the the golden package one... I don't know the name... argh... but it's so good. I haven't had in awhile though! update: LOL it's called golden curry... duh!

@Raindrop: Yes, we use S&B Golden Curry! Its so easy and DS actually loves it (he's already had it 2 nights in a row for dinner so its the only reason I'm not giving it as his entree again!)

@Raindrop: I love their meat. It's really really good. I have never tried this lasagna, but I got it on sale because one of the local stores was going out of business. So why not? Their steak is amazing, their porkchops are really good, and I like their kielbasa. Oh and their steak burgers are yum!

@travellingbee: SOLD! Thanks! I'm going to get me some Omaha steak stuff soon.
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@Raindrop: they have some great sales- I'd never get stuff full price though. It's pricey but when they have good sales, I stock up because it's cheaper than grocery store meat at times

We are having bunless hamburgers and cucumber/carrot/bell pepper "Salad." Basically I'm going to chop them and toss with avocado oil and vinegar.
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@OhCaptain: Yum! I think I call bunless hamburgers = hamburger steaks. I wonder which way is more correct, probably both are correct. Ha!
*ponders* edit: totally corrected they are not the same thing!

I have parent teacher conferences so I just went out to dinner with colleagues at a thai place and got hot basil rice with shrimp - delicious and I'm excited for leftovers tomorrow! DH was getting a sandwich from the deli down the street.

I just ordered a buffalo chicken salad. DH had leftover chicken cutlet from last night and some pork dumplings from Fresh Direct. Thank God this man doesn't care about a wife that cooks!

@yoursilverlining: Wow that recipe looks super yummy! Thanks for sharing.
@Mamag511: I heard that's really good! I still need to try it. But I haven't gone to TJs in forever.
@SweetiePie: Sounds yummy! I'm an okay cook but sometimes when I try new recipes it can turn out bad but DH still always eats whatever I put in front of him, very glad for that!

@Raindrop: I'm actually not a bad cook, I just don't enjoy it at all. And I hate the cleanup! We live in a city with so much delivery so it's never been necessary for me to cook. If we ever move to the burbs though I'll have to

Cooked meatball sub's.. but couldn't eat it.....carnation breakfast shake for me....lol
grapefruit / 4731 posts
@SweetiePie: Haha sorry I didn't mean to imply you were a bad cook! Just saying how I'm thankful for DH that he is okay with how I am.
Man if I could order out more often that is living the dream. Clean up does suck!
