LO isn't a big chicken fan, but we went to DH's great aunt's house the other day and she made a breaded chicken that LO loved. I'm making it again in hope that she'll actually eat it, along with carrots and rice.

We're having a mish-mash for dinner! I made a quinoa salad, will roast some cauliflower and then we have some leftover pork chops and roasted sweet potato that will hopefully be eaten up. I wanted to load up on veggies today!

I made a whole (5 lb) chicken dinner in the crockpot on Saturday and we still have leftovers! We'll finish it up tonight, with a fresh salad on the side.

Well, I think I'm going to make pasta with a sweet potato sauce for me and DS, and then a sweet potato shepherd's pie for when DH gets home.

We're having Rick Bayliss' "wilted greens tacos" (chicken, spinach, tomatillo salsa and a dollop of sour cream on corn tortillas). Salad with roasted summer squash, zucchini, jalapeno, avocado, tomato.
LO had pasta with homemade "baby sauce" (equal parts tomato sauce, pureed sweet potato and pureed carrots), grilled onions and mushrooms, some blackberries and a couple of goldfish crackers.

We just got a new grill yesterday so we are grilling steaks and squash with mashed potatoes on the side. Yum!

It's a grocery shopping night, which usually means we fend for ourselves with leftovers, or pop something frozen in the oven. I've been eying an Annie's cheese-less, roasted veggie pizza, so perhaps I'll have that.

Eh... heh. French fries, chips and salsa, and chocolate chow mein noodle bites. Yeah, not my finest moment. Actually, one of my worst in months.
