Spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs and sauce are homemade, I don't kill myself to make pasta :-).

@lamariniere: mmmm I LOVE spaghetti and meatballs. But your meal will be a thousand times better with homemade spaghetti!!! I'm so doing that next time ground beef is on sale!

@locavore_mama: If it's any consolation, I found squid ink pasta, so it looks like black spaghetti. Tastes exactly the same to me, but it's a bit more fun.

@locavore_mama: I am kind of surprised you buy ground beef...unless you meant you buy a piece of beef and grind it yourself?
I have no idea, my husband is working late and I have nothing defrosted.

Probably roast chicken with new potatoes and steamed cabbage. How very bland and British!!

@looch: haha I love you. Ground beef can be as cheap as $1.99/lb to $2.29 lately for 90% lean. I've yet to find any cut of beef cheaper than that. So it's all dollars and cents. do you grind your own?
@lamariniere: I love squid ink pasta!!!
@Cherrybee: the best beef stroganoff I've ever had was at a small restaurant in London 's Soho. Is it a classic British dish???

@locavore_mama: I was hoping you had some secret source for beef!
My parents buy a large piece of chuck from Costco, then grind it and vacuum seal it. I have yet to do it because my freezer is going to die soon and I do not want to have thousands of dollars of food in there when it happens, lol.

Whole bone in chicken pieces
Trader Joe's BBQ Sauce

Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Lemon Juice
Apple Cider Vinegar
Throw it in the Slow Cooker for 4 to 5 hours and TADAA!
