We were going to make homemade pizzas but our frozen dough did not rise for some reason! Last minute plan is for DH to pick up a Rotisserie from the supermarket and we will make rice pilaf and Japanese eggplant to go with.

I didn't have enough kale but I also had spinach in the fridge so I just substituted. I also didn't make it skinny--used regular pasta, whole milk & whole cheese.

I have some meatballs and sauce simmering in the Crockpot that we'll use for meatball sandwiches. First time trying this recipe and I'm super excited to eat them.
