It's a day ending in Y, so here's my favorite thread.
Because food
I'm going to make spinach and mushroom lasagna, but it'll be more like creamed spinach lasagna because I have to work around D's hatred of ricotta and cottage cheese.

Maybe pasta. Not sure yet! Sometimes DH doesn't feel like pasta for some reason.

I have no idea. I should text DH to see what he wants so I can thaw something. Maybe chicken or burgers on the grill and potatoes. That sounds easiest right now!

We were supposed to have venison steak with oven fries and asparagus, but DH and I are both sick and don't feel like cooking so...probably leftovers...

I'm making a veggie & bean soup. DH will probably add some chicken on the side I would imagine.

@sarbear: I got it from Cooking Light so you can search their website, but now I just guesstimate everything. I sautee a bulb of fennel sliced with 5 turkey sausages (casing removed) and dice up the sausage as it's browning. I then throw in a 32 oz carton of chicken broth. When you're ready to eat it, I add 2 cans of white beans and about 1/2 bag of chopped escarole and just bring to a boil. Top with pecorino romano or parmesan. That makes enough for 2 lighter dinners, but we usually have 1 big bowl of soup for dinner and then the rest for lunch the next day.

Well, DH is at choir practice all evening, so I just ate...
- a flour tortilla with some melted cheddar on top
- half an avocado
... and will probably have some carrot sticks and something sweet later...
Anyone else eating random food tonight??

This! The veggies were really good but I don't think I did the sauce right because it didn't seem all that special.
