Xander is 7.5 months and usually takes 3 naps a day. The daycare tries to get him to take his 3 naps there so after I pick him up, I can nurse him and then do dinner of solids before bed. But half the time, he doesn't take his last nap, so I just put him down when we get home and by the time he wakes up, there's only time to nurse and put him back to bed.
Is this okay? When should I make solids a priority? Should I skip the nap so there's time to feed him solids instead? Should I send solids to daycare to make sure he's actually getting them everyday?
When we skip solids, he doesn't seem to notice or care - he sleeps just fine and doesn't seem to wake up any hungrier than usual.
