We're moving closer to a farmer's market. The produce is all local, but most of it is not organic. The produce at the market is largely organic, but is often shipped in internationally for things that are out of season.
What is more important to you --- local or organic -- and why?
I buy local whenever possible. Especially for meats/eggs/dairy, because I can get a better idea of how the animals were treated. Most of it is organic uncertified or minimally treated, anyway. And, at a farmer market, you can ask questions about how things are grown, too.
