@regberadaisy: I've never used the crockpot function on this, but I'm not a big crockpot person in general. I've always felt crockpot meals all tasted kind of the same - maybe I was doing them wrong! I definitely use this mainly as a pressure cooker. I've tried the beef stew, beans, porridge, and saute functions so far. Love that you don't ever have to soak your beans, and that you can brown your meat in this pot then pressure cook it without ever having to use anything else. It helps me make a lot of one pot meals. Which appliance do you use more - the crockpot or pressure cooker?

@regberadaisy: I just got one to replace my old crock pot and rice cooker. I don't have a pressure cooker, so I'm looking forward to that!

@travellingbee: I can't believe I found this post again from a month ago, but do you have a recipe for the lemon feta turkey sliders that you can share? I remember seeing your post and thinking those sounded great! Thanks!

My in-laws gave us their chest freezer as they bought a larger one, so after giving it a good scrub I have empty out my kitchen freezer. I don't really want to transfer food over so I have to use it all up in the next fortnight. Lots of scotch fillets, chicken tenders and chicken thighs, beef ribs, pork spare ribs, turkey mince, meatballs, sausages. I just have to remember to take something out to defrost every night.
