To those of you who are in the "Waiting to Try" stage, do you have a "To-Do Before Baby" list, and if so, what's on it?
Do you just want to save money or get a bigger house, or do you have things like travel you want to do before you start tcc?
For my husband and I, our "Pre-TCC" list includes saving money and backpacking the Middle East. We hope to start TCC in the spring, maybe April or May.

husband and i are gonna start trying in January. before then we have our honeymoon in South East Asia (Thailand and Burma) and we have to prepare for a big move from new york to portland, oregon. we wont actually move until Feb but i am 34 and almost 35 with a low AMH so we gotta get cracking sooner rather than later. i am very much hoping it all goes well.
initially we were gonna start in May and i had wanted to get my bod in crazy bikini shape but now that it is so soon after the honeymoon i don't think it's a good idea for me to go too crazy on my diet so i will just get somewhat in shape. enjoy your flat tummy and all that while you can. everyone tells me it's never the same. it's worth it though.

Husband and I are talking about visiting the UK between starting TTC and the start of the third trimester. There's apparently a huge dinosaur museum in London that he's interested in, and my godkids live over there - if I don't visit before we have kids, I'l probably never see them again. We'll also probably try to see (the lack of) Nessie - husband LOVES cryptozoology.

We want to pay off one or both of our cars first. With the cost of daycare, we really want to cut down our monthly expenses to make up the cost, without having to sacrifice too much of our lifestyle. We have time, we only want 2 kids, and we're 25 and 26.

We're waiting to try, but we don't really have anything tangible on our list left (we're married now, live in a big enough apt to have room for a baby, have savings, I'm in grad school but will be done with classes after the spring...). I'm emotionally ready but DH isn't there yet, so it's pretty frustrating! I'm trying to be patient. I do want to get in better shape before we start trying though, so there's that.

We are waiting for him to finish up his PhD for the most part, which is good because it allows us to also have some time for just us first.

We lived in London for a while so we wanted to move back to the US, buy a house, and then TTC. We followed our plan and did just that.

travel was on our list. we tackled paris + hawaii right before em was conceived.

Our to-do list before trying included paying off all debt (done!!), doing some home repairs (painting (done), ripping out the old carpet and putting down wood floors, and getting a new washer and dryer (ours are literally from the 80's and not energy efficient for cloth diapering).
The floors should be done by January and the washer and dryer will be purchased as soon as I can pick out a model I like so we've deemed ourselves complete enough to start trying

We're waiting to try because I'm going to Vegas at the end of December! So as soon as I come back from that, I'm throwing out the BC and we'll start trying!

@Beyond2: My list is house related, too, mostly!
We want our kitchen remodeled (should be starting this month!!), along with several other small home updates. Then I have to go to, and finish, grad school, which will be a 2 year program. I am applying in the upcoming months, once I take the GRE. We also would like to go to Hawaii. I think we are off to a good start.

DH and I want to run a half marathon together, I want to get in the best shape of my life (since I may not look like this ever again after a baby), I want to travel a little more- a least one more big trip with DH, I'd really like to get new windows in our house (although in reality this can probably wait), and I'd like to build up our savings a little more.

My DH needs to finish school so we can relocate closer to my family. We'll most likely be buying a house at this point, so we'll need to restock our bank accounts a bit before we can seriously start trying. I'm trying my best to be logical and stick to the plan but it's so hard to wait!
