Gave me a massage after a long day. He does that pretty frequently, actually!

He also made dinner for my relatives recently. We all enjoyed it.

He told me to go to bed while he stayed up to put the new grill together even though I said I'd help him. I got some rest and we can grill. Mmm.

Let me 'sleep in' (you know...til 7:30) yesterday morning! And bought Starbucks!

He went out of his way to pick up my favorite dessert (a pint from Chinatown ice cream factory, the friggin best!) while he was in the city for work!

Gave me a foot massage last night while we watched tv

He washed the dishes last night. And some of the days he was home the last few days he occupied LO1 in the morning so I could get a few extra minutes asleep since I'm the one up with the baby at night.

Gave me a massage last night. We did lots of errands and walked around Ikea for like 3 hrs and it killed my lower back.

DH doesn't work Friday, Sat, and Sun so those are my sleep in days and he gets LO dressed for me every morning while I make breakfast and his lunch

@twodoghouse: haha yep! I generally handle overnights by myself and he gets up with Fiona whenever she wakes for the day, so long as it is after 6am. Then she's awake for about an hour before she needs to bed fed/have a nap and he wakes me up and I do that. Sat night we reverse and he handled overnight and I got up with her when she woke up. But Fiona doesn't eat overnight so our nights are (generally) not as bad as yours are! Really the best thing though was last night he was like "man I don't know how you do that every single night. I did it one night and I know she had a really good night by her standards (was only up 4 times and just need her paci) and I'm exhausted! Even if you don't have to be up very long just getting woken up so much makes it so you can't ever relax an get good sleep." I was like omg... HE FINALLY GETS IT. lol

He is always so nice! He is very sentimental, romatic, and complimentary, so he says super nice things to me often. He's really good at making me feel special all the time. The other day he brought me flowers and wrote a really nice letter for my bday.

@Adira: Your side of the lawn? You split up the lawn? Do you split cleaning the house?

It's the little things... I've asked him last week to clean the microwave and I asked him again yesterday and he did it! I hate nagging him but I love it when he does things promptly.

@IRunForFun: @Smurfette: haha, I know, we're weird. Our lawn isn't that huge - it takes about an hour to mow total, so we each mow for about 30 minutes. We just split it down the middle (the driveway separates the two sides and then we have a path from our deck into the woods in the back that separates the two sides). He takes the hilly side and I take the flat side.

And no, we don't split the house, although we both do different chores and usually clean the house together (like he'll be picking up while I'm vacuuming).

@Smurfette: Because I refuse to mow his side. It's got a rough hill and I fell and scraped my knee the one time I tried to do it! So now we both just do our own sides. Plus it's the little exercise I get each week...

@Adira: this is why I leave the lawn to DH. I will help bag leaves and limbs when he cuts them. But 90% is all him!

Bought us Netflix again so I can watch Food Network shows and planted a bunch of wildflowers in the back that are just now starting to bloom.

He does nice things for me every day. He wakes up with the kids every morning, and I get to sleep until almost 8! He comes home often for lunch, he does a lot of our family's dinners. He researched the best nursing bras by reviews, and ordered one for me. I could list a lot of things--He's pretty great.
