@MsLipGloss: Wow! cool! Where did you grow up overseas? And how did you end up in Alaska?

I've only moved within my state. I have lived in 5 different cities in my state though. I'm ready to move somewhere else next time!

I lived in a few communities in the Canadian arctic as a kid. And then to Ontario, though I went on a high school exchange for a year to Ecuador. And then to Nova Scotia for my undergrad, then back to Ontario, then to the UK for grad school, then to Calgary for work, then to Edmonton for work and then to Toronto with my husband's job. Here for now, who knows where next!

I went from the US to live in Madrid for a summer to play on a softball team there. My next biggest moves were from the Midwest to California then 8 yrs later to the south.

The US to England when I was in my early 20s, and then from the US to Kenya when I was in my late 20s.

Funnily enough, when living in the US, I've always been within a 50-mile radius from where I was born, even for college! So within the US, I'm totally a homebody!

grew up outside of Detroit, MI and lived in Ann Arbor for college and 1 year beyond, so within 45 minutes. then I moved to Boston for 2 years, Chicago for 2 years, NYC for 2 years, and now we've been back in Boston for almost 4 years. and it's fairly likely we'll move to Dallas this spring. I'm at the point where I'm ready to move again because we can't afford much here (like a house).

I've moved a lot, mainly international moves!

    Since 2004:
    Chicago to the UK (London)
    London to Melbourne, Australia
    Melbourne to Chicago
    Chicago to Brisbane, Australia
Brisbane to Darwin, Australia (cross country move)

And we're currently in the process of planning our move back to the UK for May or June of this year. Then hopefully we're done for a while!

I moved from Canada to Australia! I think that's almost literally the other end of the world.

I also moved within Australia from one side of the country to the other, but that didn't seem like a very big move after moving across the world. It was like 4 hour flight? That's basically next door!
