I'm only 6dpo and I'm already tempted, but I know that's a crazy waste of a test. Hopefully I can hold out to 14dpo...

I had cheapie strip tests so I tested whenever I felt like it. You can get 25 for about 5 bucks on amazon!

I think the earliest I've P'd-OAS (what is the past tense of POAS??) is 9DPO. But I've certainly been tempted to test around 7DPO. Its only the fact that I'm super cheap and didn't want to completely waste a test.

I'm 7 DPO today and I am just dying to POAS! I also have the internet cheapies, so that makes it super convenient and not too expensive. I only do it with FMU, so if I forget in the morning - I can't do it the rest of the day (helps to push it off a bit for me!)
Now I'll probably start doing it tomorrow and do it every day from now on..

My first TWW, 9 dpo. Second, 10dpo. This one I'm trying to wait for 12. It's only cycle 3 and I'm already tired of the emotional rollercoaster

Earliest was 11 DPO and it was so barely positive I ended up in turmoil for a day and a half before I could test again.

@Arden: i'd say they're pretty sensitive! I got my bfp 12 DPO using a strip test. took a digital to confirm.

I totally tested at 8 DPO on my first cycle TTC.

I think the earliest I tested was 7 DPO, and I got a BFP on 9 DPO.

Early response HPT says they can detect HCG 5 days before your period. So that's about 9 DPO. Of course all I have seen are BFN so I don't know if you actually can.

7 dpo. It was negative, it was also negative on 9 and 12 dpo. Positive on 14 dpo!
Now I won't be testing before 12 dpo, it's a waste!

i'm not good at waiting, so i tested 8dpo, 10dpo, and 13dpo! i didn't get the bfp until 14dpo though.

I'm telling myself to wait until 9dpo. And then when I get there, I'll tell myself to get to 12dpo. And then 14dpo.

I would tell myself to wait until 10DPO, but I tested at 8 DPO and got a BFP!

8dpo.... then got a BFP on 11dpo with the internet cheapie, positive digital on 12dpo.

@Arden: The earliest I tested was the cycle that I got my BFP. I tested on 8DPO...in the evening after I'd already gone to the bathroom an hour before so my urine was probably pretty diluted. It was positive! And it was on one of the cheapies. They're really sensitive!

8dpo but it was a negative. I got a really faint bfp 9dpo. I have heard of someone who got a faint positive 6dpo! Crazy!

@bluestriped bee: I think it depends on when implantation happens. If it happens on Day 6 or 7, then I could see a 9dpo pos. But if implantation doesn't happen until Day 10, you aren't going to get a pos until much closer to your period.

the cheapies didn't work so well for me! the morning i got 3 bfp's on the digitals, i got 2 bfn's on the dollar tree cheapies. in the future, i'm just going to buy the digitals from the start, and test around 14dpo again (if i can take it!).

When I first was TTC, I started testing at 6 DPO. Crazy. I know. It just drove me insane.. Lol. I'm now 13 DPO and haven't tested yet....mayyyyyy test tomorrow..... But my POAS date is June 15 for now.

I just knew I was pregnant, so I tested 9 DPO and it came back positive immediately.

I tested 7dpo and 8 dpo with a cheapie, BFN.
I tested 9 dpo with both a cheapie and a blue dye (target brand FRER) and got a BFP on the blue-dye but BFN on the cheapie.
It was (obviously) a BFP though, because the line showed up immediately - not after an hour or anything like that. Blue dye aren't always awful
ETA - similar to PP, I had the feeling that I was so I refused to stop testing. HAHA.

I think I tested at 5 dpo at one point. This time around though, I held out until 10 dpo, and that's when I got my BFP.

When we first started TTC, i tested as early as 3DPO...how foolish of me, lol.
