I've never been a runner (I prefer sprinting), so I'm pretty sure it's not a very far distance. Working now to build up to 3 miles, then will decide if running is for me.
What's the farthest distance you've ever run?

A little over 7 miles (12k) for the bay to breakers race in San Francisco. I'd love to do a half marathon someday!

22 miles
I was training for a marathon and got injured so never was able to run it.

13 miles when I was really going. I've done two halfs and three 10 milers. I'd have a hard time doing five now...

I did a 10K, so 6.2 miles. I don't really like running though, at least not long distances. I don't really see myself doing more than a 5K now -- that's about how far I run on a regular basis. Any more than that, and I'm over it haha.

26.1 miles!!!
Eta: i didn't "run" the whole marathon. Probably the furthest i can run without stopping to walk is 5 miles

13.1 miles. I have a magnet on my car that says, "13.1 miles, because I'm only half crazy."

Maybe 10 miles? Long time ago when I was a competitive runner, but I was a sprinter so I wasn't running distance much.
I really miss running. My knees and hips are just not made for any more consistent running.

13.1 miles from my half marathon days. Those days are long gone!

I've done 4 full marathons and 7 half marathons. I walked a half marathon at 35 weeks pregnant, and then said to DH, "I don't think I ever want to do that while pregnant again!!!"

Just a few miles - 3 1/2 maybe? I've never been much of a runner and don't have a desire to run more than that.

5 miles for a holiday run downtown we do every year. I think I've only run the whole time twice. I do several 5Ks a year, but that's as much as I run now. I do not like running, but I like the social aspect of fundraisers.

I hit 9 mikes when I was training for a half marathon. I finished the run, realized I was miserable and hated everything about rubbing, and just stopped. FWIW, I am NOT a "natural" runner. I sucked at it and it didn't come easy. No regrets, haahhaa.

You marathon runners rock!
I've done the Philadephia Broad Street Run which was 10 miles. It's coming up this Sunday and I really wanted to run, but wasn't picked from the lottery
My next goal is a half marathon!

10k. I ran a lot before having a kid, but I had no desire to surpass regularly running 6ish miles. It just takes so much time, especially because I've always been slower.

Hopefully after this weekend my answer to this will be 13.1 miles... I'm running my first half marathon on Sunday!

13.1 miles. And I think that will be the max. You'll be surprised how long you can run with proper training.

@lawbee11: yes!
I ran a 5K two weeks ago and had never run before then (also made a blood donation afterwards, yeh... not the smartest idea). The next morning I felt like I had been hit by a bus!

13.1 at once, however I also did a 24-hour relay where I ran 3 miles at one time, waited for the rest of my team to go and then would run again. I ran ~22 miles that day.

Wow all of you put me to shame. The furthest I've ever run in one go must be about 1 mile!
Walked quickly or jogged in one go probably about 6 miles but never run, I'd die!

6 miles. It was a cancer fundraiser, so I had a reason. I don't normally have reasons, so I don't run.

7 miles. I would love to get up to that again but the doctor said no more than a couple miles a day because my knees are so bad.

@Pepper: Good luck!!!
10 miles without stopping to walk!
I really have to work at running...it doesn't come naturally to me. Right now I'm training for a half marathon and it's sooo not easy for me but I really love the runner's high that I get and the physical benefits!

@2PeasinaPod: Broad Street is so much fun! Has it gone to a lottery system now? That's crazy.

@lawbee11: I've run 12+ miles, but I still want one of those stickers!
