I currently have two toddlers (ages 2 and 3) and while they can be soooo cute and funny 80% of the time, they have so much energy I can hardly keep up!!! This has been way harder for me than having a newborn and baby/young toddler, baby and toddler.

Bump!
Id love to know what others' experiences are, as the newborn/toddler phase has been mostly kind to us so far.

Mine are 2 & 3 right now too and I think this will probably be the easiest it gets! They love playing together and are just so much fun. I am loving this stage. The hardest part is when the 2 year old gets a little tired and wants me to carry him around and that's just because I'm pregnant.
The absolute hardest was when LO2 was a baby and we were all still adjusting. LO1 was not even 2 yet and still a baby in a lot of ways.

My kids are 26 months apart. I want to say when DS was about 6-12 months and DD was in her 3's. He was getting really mobile and just constantly in her stuff, and she would get annoyed at him knocking down her stuff, or putting everything in his mouth... but he still didn't really understand that he was doing all those things. It required a lot of redirecting or pulling him away, only to have him go right back at whatever he was doing whenever my back was turned or whenever I set him on the ground.
When they were 2 and 4... or like now where they're 3 and 5... it's easier because they play like peers. There are fights to break up, but at least they both understand the concept of "taking turns", "share", or "go play something else".
The infant/toddler phase was pretty easy for us too. DS was happy just hanging out and observing, and DD didn't deal with any type of jealousy issues with the new baby transition.

Mine are 8 months and 3.5 years and the most difficult "phase" so far was the first cold and flu season with the older one in preschool.
It's getting a little more tiring now with them both being mobile but I think we've been lucky so far.

@Mrs. High Heels: lol we are going through that phase too with ds getting into all of Dds stuff. She now says she doesn't like him but she's actually usually very kind to him, but I think what she means is really "he's annoying!" Hah!

Mine are 18 months apart, just about 3 and 1.5 now. I loved the NB/toddler faze, as I just wore the newborn everywhere and that made it manageable. I find now, having two running around in opposite directions can be tiring. The hardest part was when they both started daycare in January. The constant sickness!

Right now I have a 3 month old and a 27 month old and I've been surprised by how easy it's been. I suspect that will change once the baby has more of a schedule and we can't just do whatever the toddler wants whenever the toddler wants.

I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old. It's pretty tough right now. They're going in different directions, struggling with sharing and they compete for my attention. I'm hoping it will get easier once the little one can express herself better. Fingers crossed

Right now js hard. They're 3 1/2 and 11 months. Dd1 takes toys away from dd2 and goes through phases of "stay away from me" towards dd2 several times a day. So im constantly playing referee but It's also constantly lecturing my dd1 to be nice to her sister.

Mine are 3.5 and 11m right now. So far, the hardest phase has been when DS2 started crawling. The jealousy over toys is the worst!
