@PawPrints: I posted a picture of Xander's first taste of solid food, but he doesn't have any food smeared on him. He just looks disgusted as I'm trying to offer him a spoonful, haha.

I totally agree though - I kind of hate the food all over the baby/toddler/older child's face. That's not cute to me, it's gross!

Some people on FB have started using Timehop and posting pics of their kids "1 year ago", "2 years ago", etc pretty much every single day in addition to all the other photos they are posting. It is weird to me to see baby pics over and over again for a child that is currently 4 years old. Plus are they just going to repost the same ones on the same date every year? I don't get it.

@PawPrints: same! Some food messes are too much!

    Way too many to count!

    - I'm sick of reading "this time 1/2/3/etc years ago I was about to push/dialated/getting cut open"... how about you just say happy birthday to your child instead?!
    - Anything potty training related
    - Gross pictures.... I've seen way too many posts about how many pees/poops their child has done in the toilet/underwear

I usually unfriend anyone who overshares, or if it's a good friend I just hide them.

    @Boheme: she tagged her dad?!

omg soooo funny!! I can't believe that is real

I have this one annoying friend on FB, I almost want to defriend her. She's CONSTANTY bragging about her son who is the same age as my LO "Today K learned yellow, red, blue, and orange! He is SO smart. I am so happy I get to stay home with him to teach him all these things. He wouldn't know anything if I had to work. I love being a SAHM!!" Barf. Yea, my kid goes to daycare and knows all the colors too.

@NovBaby1112: Ew. On behalf of the sane SAHMs of the world, I'm sorry!

    papaya / 10473 posts

@LovelyPlum: Yes! He apparently had a book coming out around her due date and didn't want them to be on the same day? She'd post stuff like "Dr says I'm dilated to a loose 2 and more effaced than last week! Sorry Dad, she might come on your big day!" And then tag him. *shudder*

  9. Dandelion

    watermelon / 14206 posts

@PawPrints: @Adira: I hate messy face pics, too.

  10. PawPrints

    pomegranate / 3658 posts

@Adira: To be fair though, I am writing this down on my "list of things I'll never do as a parent" so I can go back and laugh at myself in a few years when I've done them all.

So, I wanted to see if 'STFU Parents' was a real thing - I have been sucked down an awesome rabbit hole of crazy!

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@PawPrints: I've totally done that too! And I've told friends "Let me know when I've made a hypocrite of myself."

oh i also deleted a girl because she was constantly posting anti epidural, anti c section, anti hospital birth sentiments with hashtags such as #realwomen. INFURIATING. and this was long before i was TTC or pregnant.

@swurlygurl: i had to log in to see the photos. too funny!

@PawPrints: that's so funny. My grandma requested my mom not share eating photos with her b/c she didn't care to see all the mess. I have come to understand how she feels!

I have a friend whose LO is the same age as mine and she posts several times a week to say how she is so blessed because her baby slept 13+hrs through the night.

I mean, that's great...we get she's a great sleeper...but we have a lot of mutual friends who are still struggling massively with their LO's sleep and I find it rude she keeps harping on about it!
