My son just received one of those for his 3rd birthday! They're so cool!
We live in a tiny space, so we don't buy a lot of toys unless there's a gift-giving occasion. But I did buy the doctor kit recommended by @Mrs. Pizza as a big brother gift to give my son when he meets his new sibling at the hospital in a couple weeks. He's not into dolls, so I hadn't decided what to give him. I think the kit makes sense given he'll be in a strange hospital environment. He's been very interested in medical procedures and seems to have some anxiety around the idea of new baby receiving shots.

They got flu shots/vaccines on Friday and afterwards we went to Target to get a toy for each bc they were so good, and DD1 picked out this Barbie with a Unicorn set and I got DD2 some cute baby rattles:)

I can't remember the last toy I bought her, but I did buy her 4 books yesterday. She prefers those. Those boogie boards are awesome!

I ordered some boon water pipes last night, and he gets to pick out a Matchbox like car if he behaves when we go to the grocery store on the weekend. Other than that any other toy I've bought has been set aside for Christmas.

@yoursilverlining: What is the deal with these? I know they are popular. I thought about some for Christmas. But are those little pieces going to be all over the house?
