i've never had both kids alone, but mr bee went away twice for a weekend when we just had charlie. it was just 2-3 days for work.

Maybe five day increments where DH has been working long hours and maybe might pick LO up for a few mins a day and that's it...or a week when I was staying with my parents but at least they were around to help a bit...a few days when DH only was home to sleep during the newborn days (TORTURE!)...that's as close as it's come!

2 and a half years. Ds's dad and I divorced and he's an inconstant father. Now I have dh its much better

14 days consecutively. DH lives and works out of town but went out of town for business for 2 weeks not too long ago.
