I work in real estate. Wednesday was an all time low for on the job tasks for me. We have a client who is difficult. He is recently divorced and trying to sell his family home. At first he wasn't living there, but now he has moved back in with a couple guy friends. He has declined several showings, which is frustrating. Wednesday he declined a showing and the agent called us because her clients really wanted to see it. It was #1 on their list. After playing phone tag with our client we got him on the phone. He agreed to allow the showing, but warned us that the house was messy. Messy homes don't show well. So with 20 minutes until the showing I went over there and cleaned the house! It was terrible! There were dirty dishes everywhere, trash on the counters, dirty clothes on the floors. There was a love note in the kitchen that was obviously from the previous night's conquest. I also had to hide several condom boxes. In the master bedroom the bed was covered in used Kleenex! The people are really interested in buying it, so it paid off. But I'll never do that for a client again.

Do you have any crazy stories?
