Well, this was to my husband but he picked my daughter up from school today and she said, "I missed you, Daddy!" Aaaaand my heart just crumbled into a million pieces.

DH got all teary eyed the other night when she goes "daddy you are my favorite (with a big hug) you and purple popsicles" it's a big deal he came first

@plantains: hahaha. I think the ONLY reason she is not afraid (she wanted to go see the mouse and talk to it) is because she loves the book Madeline and Madeline is not afraid of mice.

She's 17 months so just learning to talk.
At supper today she looked up at me and said "Mama, mmmmm!" And it melted my heart!

She said to me and DH when she woke up one morning in bed with us: "you guys are the best thing ever!" We were dying.
