Do your children have similar temperaments?
DS1 was a pretty demanding baby and toddler, but around age 3.5 his temperament shifted a bit and he has become much more easygoing. 3.5-5 have been pretty great with him!
DS2 was a fairly chill baby (though he was a terrible sleeper) but has been a very challenging toddler. He's 2.5 and I wonder if he will remain more challenging!
DS3 - still pregnant so will be very curious to see how his personality is.

DS1 was an easy baby and he's still pretty chill at 3.5. He definitely has his moments of not listening and being a threenager, but overall, he's still easy.
DS2 was a harder baby (reflux, didn't STTN until after a year, etc.). From 12-18 months, he was a MESS- into everything, never stopped moving...ever! He's now 21 months and definitely still more active than DS1 was, but he's gotten easier in the last few months.
DD is only 7 days old, so who knows 
So far, she's been a very easy newborn- very calm and chill, only cries when hungry, etc.

My third is by far the most laid back of them all! He is newly one and has been as a baby and still now.
I would say my oldest was the toughest baby, bad sleeper and never wanted to be put down.
Middle child is a total threenager right now but the most affectionate of them all so that helps.
It's so interesting how they all are so different but have some very similar personality traits!

Don't have a third but my kids are so different. I wonder about how a third would be! Ds was a chill baby and good sleeper. DD is a needy little diva
