Wagon Jr. is 3.5 and I'm confident he would do fine sharing a room with someone, but Lil Miss Wagon is 11 months and I'm not so sure! They are both active sleepers and both often wake up crying, and I'm just too protective of their sleep that I don't know if I could ever let them share a room until LMW is much older!

I think at 2 and 4 I'd let my kids share a room if they wanted to.
We plan on keeping them in separate rooms though.BIL and SIL put their girls together when the youngest was 1!

Although its not the plan, if we were to get pregnant before we could afford to rent/buy a house with more than two bedrooms, I'd likely have them start sharing before the youngest is a year.

I wonder this too because H is nearly 17 months, Em is nearly 4 months and I want to eventually room them together. Besides she's outgrowing her cradle and he's about to climb out of his crib... Ugh.

Whenever they're both consistently sleeping through the night and have the same bedtime.

My brother and I are 6 years apart and we shared a room until he was almost 4 and I was 10.

My sister and I were in a room together from when I was about 3 months and she was 3 years and a few months until we were 10/13!

We're planning on baby girl being in our room until she's sleeping well and then we'll be moving her into E's room. She'll be less than a year old.

DD (3 yo) and DS (9m) share a room and have since DS was about 4m. They would have shared sooner but it was easier to keep DS in the PNP in our room for his very frequent night nursing and 3-5AM witching hour when he was a newborn. DD is a very sound sleeper so she usually sleeps through his night wakings.

It would depend too much on how they sleep to say now. If the older one was a sound sleeper who didn't wake up easily, and the younger one was consistently sleeping through the night... well, whenever that happened I'd have them share.
My parents' solution was to move the baby in to share with the older sibling when the next baby came along! So I started sharing with my older sister when I was almost 3, and then my next younger sister started sharing with me when she was a little over 2.

We are thinking of having Dd and DS share in a few months.
They would be 5 and 2. We have the space to have their own rooms but it would be more for the company since our master is down and other bedrooms are up.
