The attached video in that linked article made me so sad. I can't imagine what her husband is going through and I feel so sorry for her two babies =(

So sad, and so scary. It just seems impossible that something like that can even happen in this day and age.

That's awful! So sad for all her family. When the boys were in NICU, a woman went into cardiac arrest during a normal vaginal delivery. Thankfully, they were able to save both her and the baby, but it scared the crap out of me because i think of childbirth as virtualy 100% safe. Stories like these are a good reminder that life is still fragile..

Wow, that's awful. It has me in tears here, even though I hadn't heard of her video blog before. It's just crazy to think that women still die in childbirth - realistically I know it happens, but it's just something I never even think to worry about. So sad for her family.

Very sad. This is a reminder that child birth is a miracle. Having a healthy baby and mother is not guaranteed.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: you're right. I don't know why this affected me so much, since I only watched a video once a while back. I guess being a mom now, any story involving kids or moms just upsets me so much because I know it could have been me or my child. =( Just awful.

@Anagram: I'm the same way now - since having a child, any story that involves a mother or children affects me so much more than it ever used to. This news is devastating and I had never even heard of her before this.
