5 year plan - 2 kids or at least pregnant with our second and in our forever home.

I try not to think too far in advance, but in 4 months we'll be settled in our forever home. In 5 years, our house should be paid off, kids will be in private school (8 and 6 years old) and I'll still be a SAHM.

Wahhhh it'll be 2019 before I know it!

5 year plan - hopefully 3 kids and purchased a house.

Not really sure about anything else yet!

5 years: have graduated from nursing school and been working the field for about two years, saved a nice chunk of my income and paid off about a quarter of DH's loans.

10 years- have DH's loans paid off, and hopefully adopt a child or two.

To be alive? I honestly have no time to think about it

DH has 3 years left in school and all of our future plans ride on where he gets the best job so we could be in the same house in Kansas or we could be in Texas for all I know...*sigh...the planner in me hates it!

I have a 3 year plan, does that count?

In 3 years I will have opened my private practice and we will have either moved into our forever home or committed to staying where we are through LO's elementary years.

I want to...

Sell my house
Move to a better school district (buying optional)
Have another child or adopt
Restart my career
Visit 3 national parks or go abroad

In 5 years I hope we'll have our 2nd by then and he or she will be at preschool and LO will be in school.

I think we will make a decision between now and then on whether or not we will move to another home or stay in this one.

We have a financial goal set for ourselves in 5 years but I don't know what my career goal is. Perhaps working on a reduced schedule? I don't know what our 10 year goals are at all!

By 2019: We'll finalize our family planning. I'll finish up my studies and hopefully find a local job that I enjoy. Take a vacation back to our honeymoon spot with LO. Do a little more traveling along the way. Finally decide on our windows and hopefully get my kitchen extended!

By 2024: E will be 12 years old and I'll really be a old lady! I just want all of us to be happy and healthy by then. Hopefully finish up a lot of home improvement ideas and upgrades. Take and enjoy our vacations. Perfect our vegetable growing technique. Maybe I can finally finish my cookbook I want to put together for DD.

5 years - survive.
10 years - the house will be paid off, M will be in middle school and we're going on a family vacation somewhere awesome.

In 5 years I hope to be in a better place financially, have done a few updates to our house which include windows (next week!), a furnace, and new insulation, basically working on a more energy efficient home.

We have no real plans. We already have good jobs, have a house, and are baking baby #2, which will be our last. Hopefully we'll just go on some new and fun vacations in the next 5-10 years.

5 years: Hopefully will have had baby #2, will have both cars paid off, and will probably have just bought a bigger house. We are trying to fit in a European vacation in there, but who knows what life will bring. I hope to have been promoted by then as well!

10 years: HAH! No clue.

In five years I will be a mom to 2 (I wish 3, but DH says no way!), and hopefully we will have purchased our first house. I go back and forth on career goals. I would like to have started and/or finished a master's degree as well.
In ten years - I'm not sure! So much can change, we could both be in very different careers at that point. A move? Who knows!

We're in the process of building a house right now so that's the next year taken care of. For the next few years after that I just want things to settle down. The past 3, 5, even 10 years have been so crazy for me that I'm really looking for some stability at this point.

As for my career, I'm a contractor and have been moving around a lot for the past 3 years so I would really like to find something permanent (I think! It's a tough decision) so that I feel more settled in my career. I have some educational goals that I would like to complete, and I also have an idea to start my own side business.

My husband and I have a few things we would like to do, including some trips and goals of things we would like to start doing together. We're both making a conscious effort right now to try new things together and find joint interests and hobbies.

10 years, who knows! We would most likely be starting to think about our retirement plans pretty close to then... he will be closer to 50 and me 40. We would like to leave the city we are currently in.

I'm not sure if a child is in our future (we would only have one if we did), but I feel ok with that right now. I feel as though we already have lots to look forward to.

In 5 years I want to be done having babies, whether that be 1 or 2 more. Also I want to have bought a forever home. In 10 years I want to be back at work as all LO's will be in school by that point!

5 years I hope to have 2 (or 3 if we decide) LOs, build and be in our forever home, and have CC debt paid off.

10 years I hope to have all student loan debt paid off, hopefully be in a new job/career, go on a European vacation with family.

Yes! My DH is more a 'take it as it comes' kind of person, we're always trying to compromise on this, haha.

5 Years: I will finish my degree and get a job. Possibly move to a better school district depending on where I get a job and what my salary is like. L will start kindergarten and D will start pre-school. A third child is a possibility, but DH doesn't want to discuss it until #2 is born and we have some time to adjust.

10 Years: Bigger/forever home if we haven't already upgraded under the 5 year plan. Go on cool family vacations and maybe take a nice special trip for just me and DH when our 10 year anniversary rolls around.

Originally, I thought I didn't have any! We both have good jobs, are in our forever home and student loans are paid off. But reading through the above, I guess we will have made the decision for sure whether we have another baby or just stick with one, we will have our basement reno'ed, we will have a new car. Hopefully we will have gone on a really good vacation. And I'm not thinking about 10 years from now - I'll be in my mid-lifw crisis?
