Basically everything that everyone else said but I have one to add (that a close family member is notorious for):
Chain private messages--"To my 5 million and 76 favorite ladies...answer these questions for good luck". And then you get 800 inbox messages until you 'remove yourself' from the conversation....I DIDN'T WANT TO BE IN THE CONVERSATION IN THE FIRST PLACE!

I actually like when people post recipes on facebook, because if I like them then I can save them on my computer. I'm not on pinterest or instagram, and I like seeing lots of pictures of peoples' pets and children. And if they post too many I just scroll past and ignore them. I also block people from my news feed if they post annoying things too often, so I don't have to see them, and block things like bitstrips and every single facebook game for the same reason.

@Ash: Ditto. Facebook nauseates me anymore so I barely go on. It's all bragging or complaining!
