Mine is Elizabeth. I don't know why, I've just always loved it. I don't love the nicknames, so if we used it, she would be called Elizabeth.
What's your favorite name ever?

Tacy. I was obsessed with the Betsy-Tacy books growing up and for years wanted to name my daughter it. But I'm not a fan of the meaning which is why we'll never use it.

I don't know that I have ONE absolute favorite name! That's so hard.

Probably Xavier. We didn't have a boy and DH wasn't a fan anyway.

I really love Lyla. But dh wasn't a fan and it's getting too popular for me.

@Applesandbananas: Felicity. I love it! It was vetoed and we had a boy anyway.

Madeleine - it's been my first pick girl name for years. Two boys later, looks like I'm going to have to use it for a cat.

Delaney or Logan for a girl.
Graeme or Abbott, for a boy - both of which don't work with SOs last name.

For a girl, Georgia (my grandma's given name although she went by her middle name). For a boy, Theodore, I think. DH vetoed both!

@wrkbrk: I was obsessed with Felicity, the American Girl. Love that name!

I always wanted a boy named Nathan, but DH hates the name

Juliet. It was my grandma's middle name. Hoping LO is a girl so we can get to use it!

Suzanne. I've always loved it and it is not trending right now--norm-core? makes me love it more

@twodoghouse: LOVE both of those! they're definitely on my list in my head.

@Mrs.KMM: my grandmother was Adelaide and I have loved the name since I was a little girl but DH vetoed since Addie has become so popular.
I got to use my favorite boy's name from high school Declan.

I love the name Norah but a family friend who's like my brother used Nora for his daughter, I don't think I can use it now!

Ava has been a favorite of mine since long before it was popular. For a boy, Adam.

I love Ian & Benjamin.
@Glitter: that is my LO's middle name!

Maria but only when pronounced like Aria with an M. But I didn't want to say that every time I introduced LO.

Brooks for a boy. Amelia June for a girl. Probably won't get to use either one ever. Hubs hates the boy name and I am 2/2 boys, so I feel like if we have a third I doubt I'll get to use the girl name.
ETA Julia is another fave of mine, but a close family member just used it so it's a no-go forever.

Evelyn for a girl. It's a family name so if we have a girl (I'm pregnant) we will definitely use it.
Charles for a boy. And not call him Charlie. I don't like nicknames particularly. Neither does my partner.
We are lucky that we love the same names. I have only had to veto one name (family one and it's awful)
